yes, and as a Yank in my early 50's, the US & germany & UK, et al, have and had a responsibility to try to prevent what happened since Feb of last yr, namely trapping of much of the civilian population in cities like Mariupol where the least able citizens were trapped and died, en masse, in what is the worst atrocity against europeans since ww2, AND ru will NEVER ever . ever ...ever be either forgiven, nor will be able to fully compensate, and thus for at least 50 years they will need to be demilitarized ,and contained, and there are other ramifications as well. So, yes, some of it is our responsibility now and it was before last Feb too, partly bcuz in the 1990's we and europe were confronted w/ the Balkans atrocities and we were neutered then, unwiling/able to prevent atrocities in real time and evvvvveryone watched that slow and somtimes fast annhilation take place in those places, Mostar, etc. We are fed up with conservative slavic aggression and it's time to contain it once and for the duration, ie. 50 -100yrs.
