  3. Except they only spoke russian (like quite a few ppl did in Ukr) , they aren't russian ethnically, and that land is the most valuable in Ukr for industrial power bcuz of minerals. Ukr was reasonable to want to at least try to recapture the land, given it did NOT seem logical that Russia would try very hard to keep it (though they did try hard after all)

  8. grandma, there's no missing money and Ukr has only received assets totalling about 120B or so, and most of that was our old equip. that we'd have had to spend a lot to dispose of!! U don't sound like a grandma, in fact your stmt is fishy sounding. We yanks are not sending much money at all to Ukr and the benefit to us for the price is incredibly great! U need to learn things before u form such solid opinions which u base on wrong info and disinfo from the ruskies.

I always like Goncharenko but he's slipping now into lala land, when he makes that blanket stmt that since Zelen originally only wanted to serve one term, he should now hold to that, even though he became the hero of Ukraine for many Ukrainians and is objectively one of the most clear-eyed strong leaders with negotiation skill on earth, due to this historic war. (keep in mind that worldwide, this war stands out along with only a tiny handful of wars in the past 500 years to be truly epic and historic for a number of reasons.)

But yeah u r mostly right that europe could have done a lot more. But it's actually the US which had true capabilities to do much more, specifically it could have earlier made it possible for UKR to hit deep into Ru much more often and hit key co's and assets. That reluctance was a tragedy imho, as an american. I've studied a ton about international political history and history and econ and game theory and behavioral psych.
