  1. wow! brava Meghan, and i will read your book for sure. Your explanations are vibrant and move me tremendously. I've no slavic background but am third gen immigrant on one side of my family here in US as well, and for a few reasons of that immigrant experience and my grandfather's young life in Eire, feel some affinity w/ the experience of trauma he endured quietly. And even other trauma on other side of my family, due to the Pacific War. Furthermore, i had the fortune to be taught a semester of russian by a ukr american whose own family had also been in the nationalist mvmt in ukr, so i learned first hand how barbaric and horrific the soviet opression and brutality was. Thank u again, and thank u Telegraph and hosts, u r an amazing resource of news and info.!

  2. i don't disagree but do u really think i'ts necessary to specify all this, which may mislead outsiders like us in the west, who will assume the best and be overconfident on behalf of the Ukr's who in fact have been UNDERsupplied re ammo and artilery! Your ideas are counter to what Ukr has repeatedly stated-- they do NOT have enough stuff at the right times. we've been behind the curve, and i'm a yank and i'm sickened to my soul, and if we dont' get this right, all free thinkers on earth will LOSE, plus there won't be any normal economy any longer. Get the ammo factories running and get the pilots and mechanics training tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
