  3. this was the first gen of premium cars that i could buy, but i never did end up doing so bcuz i'm an american and just couldn't justify the hassle factor w/ the numerous repairs needed on the engines we had, namely 1.8T being our most desirable. This V8 was rare and massively costly to deal w/ here. it's a world apart wrt car repairs in UK vs here, where we can't really service euro cars longterm in many cases. We export a ton of used premium, lux and euro cars
