  1. i'm the same! These two are beams of light among ukrainians or anyone, and i've seen her in other vid's recently where she also illuminates reality like no one else can! And she doesn't always show her incredibel intellect which has blown me away actually, and i've been around towering intellects in my life, with me far below them. In her channel generally, her combination of joy, passion, tenderness, rawness and biting rebuke of the evil & repugnance of the enemy, has been something to deeply respect & be in jaw-dropping awe of.

Thank u for that, bcuz indeed this is a particularly darker Christmas-tide for so many ppl on earth, than in prior years, that is for damned sure! You two are a perfect combination for tonight, with such a perfectly bright yet entirely realistic ambiance and framing. Starskyi is right about friends and the fact that supporters of Ukraine who have found you two & other high-quality YT channel creators re Ukr, are part of an important contingent of society, particularly potentially, bcuz imho, the international political situation is about to get very dynamic, and possibly do so quite quickly. Insofar as western citizens are persistently vocal to their elected rep's, in a deeply intelligent yet emphatic way, it can make a difference. And your channels are the ONLY way we've become informed. Silicon Curtain as well, among a few others. Thirty years ago when the internet got going when i was young, we sensed it might be vital for bringing ppl together, and this war has made that possbility become a necessity for the first time in late modern history, imho (bcuz Ukr & others are in a war of civilization itself). Thank you both for your palpable joy and faith, including faith in us in the west, including us americans who have been so very weird about Ukr, as you know. Some of us are pushing damn hard to get Ukraine the appropro help, and we've been furious & made-crazy at the stalls of our leadership re Ukr. Slava Ukraine! Indeed, it is always darkest before the dawn. ....and indeed, Anna, the 'values' issue is a massive part of all of these problems globally, and particularly in the West, as i've personally seen, and which has surprised even me, someone who's been non-naive since i was young long ago, now at midlife. Thank u again and may your Christmas-tide be so sublime and poignant that you are powered-onward through the coming prevailing against russiye. (i like the term 'prevail', bcuz it's i think decisive, bcuz it's clear, it's a military term that has real meaning). But there will definitely be victory in a total sense. (I was fortunate in the early to mid '90's to study the sorts of things that have happened for/with/to you, bcuz i went to a great program in D.C. in the in-process ending of USSR in '93/94, and then witnessed the Balkan wars in real time, even had dear friends there in Balkan studies writing their theses in Slovenia. And a german close-friend of mine (ddr-nick no less) witnessed & took pics of stolen properties there, and was apprehended by Serbs, and he believes he may have been killed if he didn't know a bit of russian language, to convince the Serbs that he was not against them! (I was supposed to be with him there, but failed to make it happen. If i'd been, he wondered if we'd have been harmed or killed even, the mood was that dark there at the time.
