Reeallly big....(i'm a yank who has studied international politics in the early to mid '90's during the cessation of the USSR and the first rise of new Ru, in real time. Even then one of my professors (econ) was part of analyst teams watching Ru money flows wrt the embassy itself etc). (yes watching flows means electronically, which means via airwaves)

  6. yep. Officiousness is typical of some societies in particular modes or moods. Ru has had a hostile paranoid stance since the '50's and its leadership is conservative and literally still uses 1950's modes of conceptualizing everything.
