@joeburly nope. We're not a nation ruled by threat of force. Rule of law itself prevents that, at least that's the normal zeitgeist and the normal 'culture' we're been accustomed to the entire 250 years. That's kinda the WHOLE point of an actually free society

@dvdv8197 that's NOT what he's supporting and he's not a Netty apologist either! We leftists/liberals who've actually paid close attention to Israel/palestine since the late '80's know exactly wtf is happening there. It is NOT a genocide in any way at all: not only is Israel not intending to harm civilians, it's using every method known to avoid it! This is mostly plain to see, particularly if u have personal impressions of having met Israelis and palestinians over the years into recently. Stop buying into the propagnda networks that Iran/Qatari-money and others have made into a fine art over the past 7 or so years. Kamala will curb Netanyahu bigtime, bcuz clearly what is happening is egregious. But it is not terrorism. Everyone knows that the Gazans were used by Hamas to create this hellstorm. It is all by design, meaning design of Iran and other deep pocketed forces like Ru.

@davidyemm7910 Elon need not be prez to have massive power. Does not matter in a presidency like this; this trend in presidential style was started by Reagan

@OldJackWolf no, that's the whole point of a situation of historic magnitude and technically like this, the Dem's need to work their asses off now

one of the most serious and profound cognitive biases is that ppl assign human intent to the inability of humans to perform well and coordinate, aka general human failing/incompetence. NOthing new under...the...sun!

u might want to read a bit about it first, or even read about economic geography (spend an hour with the intro textbook), or economic courses/books. The rate of sales is not picking up fast enough, but most importantly, the supply of Li is too small over the next ten years to reach anywhere near the car production targets. The mismanagement of the policies generally globally, is nuts if they really want to get EV cooking fast. Just not gonna happen in the timeframes. We're still about 15-25 years from Li miningn production levels that will make the numbers meaningful.

nope. One of the most common cognitive biases is ascribing intent to events that happen due to human failings in comptence and communication or stupidity. During times of social strain, and warmer summer temps, humans make far more mistakes! Duh

i'm quite far left and u are out to lunch and defocusing liberals/leftists in a way that will take down our nation, bcuz ya'll r in process of quite possibly getting DJT into office. STOP! Many unknown forces are behind the distribution of info and analysis in the past two years. Wake up. Read history and wake the fk up!

@SaltandLight33 not really at all. The whole problem w/ us humans is thinking-defects. All sorts that u can see on the wiki page of congitive biases. I'ts all there, exactly what happened in this debacle is in several of the classic thought defects. Never ascribe intent to what is 99.99% chance of resulting from human failings of comptence, communication and logic-gaps of BIG size! (such as economizing too much w/ gvt resources)
