there's been talk of this since two year ago. But what is known for sure is the basic illogic of Ru using a single nuke, let alone more than one, or WMD of other types ie chem weapons. Basically there is no practical use for them. To get a big impact on Ukr military, the size needed of one would have to be maaaasive, or several of them would have to be used at once. But if they did that, they know the US would immediatley start a conventional weaponry campaign rapidly depleting the entire western Russian force /conventional weapons/military system. That is what Biden promised Ru, and Ru cannot do anything back to us about it, bcuz they lack equivalency of power w/ us. And they're not suicidal re wanting to die in a nuke holocaust (in fact, no human groups are suicidal en masse like that probably, not even the Persians! Nukes are a menace weapon, they have no practical use as Ru is clearly demonstrating in very obvious ways over the past 900 days.

Browder is literally THE expert on invesment and finance in Russia, when it mattered. He was the only foreign hedge fund there and did yeoman's work in making Ru attractive. Ru has had so much opportunity in the past 25 years to become so successful, far far in excess of its econ level as of either '14 or '22. Russia was invited to join Nato long ago! Instead it has such a profound lack of consciouness, self awareness and imagination, ie the elite are such pathetic ppl, that from around '09ish, they started getting very very dark. Solyoev's theater-speech/performance around '08, where he rebuked fellow russians talking with hostility toward former USSR parts such as Ukraine; he said it was psychotic and insane to talk about militarily taking Ukraine. Today Solyoev is the main talk show host with pure psychopathic spewing and nonsense and near-pyschois that he inflicts on the 'russian' ppl daily on TV. Russia is not just a failed state, but a failed society that is about to go thru the darkes period in several hundred years, imho. yes! very interesting. 4M germans can understand russian language for reasons of that history. One of my dearest friends whom i met in university here in the US, was 19 when the wall came down. The personalities of E. Germans is quite different in some ways, even among the very highly educated, like my friend. It's a bit difficult for me to describe well. Fact is that whereas my Ddr-nick and my slovak friend were seemingly passive-ish ppl, my Cz and my Ukr friends are the opposite. Very intersting personality arrays and history.

not likely re the nukes not being mentioned. They can't use the threat anymore bcuz it has lost its meaning since they know there is no practical way to use them. One or a few is not enough to make enough damage to Ukr troops to be worth the negative response from the US airforce/navy which Biden has assured Ru will immediately start conventional destruction of Ru's conventional military system. Ru has no ability to successfuly defend itself against such an attack. And ru is not suicidal, and in fact no military on earth probably, even Iran's , would use nukes in a way that would assure it's own destruction. Nukes for RU are not practical to use. Ru has disadvantages in several military domains to an extent it has very limited chances against the US let alone Nato. YES! also, Odesa is the linchpin area for Ukr's entire economic future to get it moving back into full social economic function ie new economy. The ag money from the exports of Ag is fundamental to that functioning gvt. it's suuuuch a small 'risk'. I'd argue there is no negative risk, it's extremely lopsided risk/reward in favor of all reward! They are acting schizophrenic, ie split. They have been protected w/the Nato/US security system for the past 80 yrs, and now they are pretending as if they are trying to be 'reasoned' and giving Ru a bunch of extra chances to slow down its genocide? Many factors go into the calculus that makes most Nato members want much heavier and better equip to get into Ukr hands. Just one factor is that Ru CAN be prevailed against, Ukr CAN actually work hard enough against Ru aggression to restore the international order. Without that international order, there is no germany as it's been known, ie successful economically. Many of us have studied a lot of history, econ, geography, sociology, anthroplogy, psychology, and even a bit about russian history, etc. I personally studied a lot about the cold war during it, and immediately after it. Germany is hesitating right now during the final two weeks left to start the two months process it takes to get heavy equip into Ukr hands. Biggest single mistake in modern germany's history, and it will not be forgiven by us yanks, that's for damn sure. Only Leapords will do the job. We're talking about a country that is by definition not stable right now, and both CAN and must be prevailed against. If germany does not allow the Leapord tanks to go to Ukr, this war will be ongoing and then in four yrs, it will certainly be a war with direct Nato engagement. Many ppl forget that former West Germany didn't really succeed at all in holding important Nazi leaders accountable after ww2. Germany has had issues w/ facing facts directly. It's has success in that regard, especialy finally in the early 1970's. But overall, it failed to entirely deal w/ its nazi past. Sociologically that is perhaps why it's effing up right now, when the clearest thinking is required. Again, many of us yanks are repulsed by the german sentiment right now, and we will not forgive it.
