@moffig1 and the opposite would be all sorts of disaster for DE, eastern europe and all of EU, and the U.S., my country. This is very obvious to educated folks, and to many uneducated as well. Here in the US, the abject ignorance of the avg conservative voter is truly breathtaking and disturbing of course. On the left as well the ignorance is unbelievable, particularl in those born after around 1980. Here's hoping Harris wins, and congressional seats move toward Dem's as well. Otherwise, things could get 'rough' for Europe.

yes! very interesting. 4M germans can understand russian language for reasons of that history. One of my dearest friends whom i met in university here in the US, was 19 when the wall came down. The personalities of E. Germans is quite different in some ways, even among the very highly educated, like my friend. It's a bit difficult for me to describe well. Fact is that whereas my Ddr-nick and my slovak friend were seemingly passive-ish ppl, my Cz and my Ukr friends are the opposite. Very intersting personality arrays and history.

YES! also, Odesa is the linchpin area for Ukr's entire economic future to get it moving back into full social economic function ie new economy. The ag money from the exports of Ag is fundamental to that functioning gvt. SO, the West has NO choice but to FULLY arm Ukr to entirely defeat Ru's efforts, OR to form a coalition of the willing to swiftly show Ru to back out of this war of choice which has been openly nakedly genocidal, with now 140K documented (international UN standards of every level and type) cases of war crimes. And almost none by ukr soldiers upon russians.
