@Niels133 the whole point of what his level of cruelty/sadism is is that it only comes from the most psychopathic: thus indifferent and depraved and/or severely machiavellian to an extreme not typically seen in so many decades and quite a throwback into barbarism. Barbarism exists as part of a criminal continuum. To understand that autocratic regimes tend toward various forms of a-moral actions, is the start of seeing how it all works. But he is certainly NOT insane. That is the whole point! He's perfectly sane, just so tawdry & pathetic that this is how this type of human works! Like the dumbest form of animal-kingdom u can ever imagine!?

@garybrodziak2196 Browder does NOT know about the russian system?! He sure does bcuz he's the ONLY major foreign investor who was there! Putin's ppl are literally criminals in every way imaginable! They dn';t just steal/pilfer, skim, they murder in cold blood, ie business associates and attorneys they dn't agree with! This started in the 1990's regularly, with businessmen murdering each other every week in Moscow! Are u a youngin who has no idea?! ooooh, poor lil boy/gal! @garybrodziak2196 for some reason your fellow-travellers who work for Youtube probably, deleted my reply to you that i wrote yesterday. Browder is literally THE expert on invesment and finance in Russia, when it mattered. He was the only foreign hedge fund there and did yeoman's work in making Ru attractive. Ru has had so much opportunity in the past 25 years to become so successful, far far in excess of its econ level as of either '14 or '22. Russia was invited to join Nato long ago! Instead it has such a profound lack of consciouness, self awareness and imagination, ie the elite are such pathetic ppl, that from around '09ish, they started getting very very dark. Solyoev's theater-speech/performance around '08, where he rebuked fellow russians talking with hostility toward former USSR parts such as Ukraine; he said it was psychotic and insane to talk about militarily taking Ukraine. Today Solyoev is the main talk show host with pure psychopathic spewing and nonsense and near-pyschois that he inflicts on the 'russian' ppl daily on TV. Russia is not just a failed state, but a failed society that is about to go thru the darkes period in several hundred years, imho. (and i do know a bit about political economy and a about history, and history of war. Ru took a step too far and it's about to experience excruciating pain lasting likely 30 years minimum).

@brucemckenzie7188 good point, though it's a fact that a number of the worst people in history were older men, bcuz quite a ton of us become rigid in thinking with age, and it can even be a form of dementia, ie as we see Putin does have some demented thinking. Tho i agree w/ Browder and others that Pootin is sane, there can easily be some dementia/paranoia, partly bcuz the normal russian/muscovey/ussr consciousness was paranoid and deeply insecure, tetchy, touchy, hyper defensive. Medvedev is a great example.
