The price on solar panels has gotten to the point where battery capacity and charge controllers are a bigger consideration than the number of panels you get. On gas generators I like them to deliver enough juice to run a Skilsaw or other large 120 Volt tools. Thanks for the video Kyke!

@jacobsladder74 Probably buried under snow part of the time. I have a small solar + battery setup in Kyle's general area. The battery is lithium and will not take a charge when the temperature is below 30ºF. This makes the solar panel is all but useless from December to February. It isn't a big loss because there isn't much solar charging potential then anyway. If I want to charge the batteries I have to warm them up and plug them in to an AC charger. The past couple weeks it has finally been warm and sunny enough to keep the battery fully charged with a solar panel again!
