I live in St. Petersburg and regularly travel to Finland. Finland is a dull province compared to our city. Even the roads in the Leningrad region are better now than in Finland.

The author repeated a set of primitive anti-Russian stereotypes that have nothing to do with reality.

@DeciPaliz I have been to Siberia. The Siberian cities of Tyumen, Surgut, Tobolsk are beautiful and regularly take first places as the most comfortable cities in Russia. Compared to them, Finnish cities are a backward, boring, province.Yes, Finland is a small country and it gives people little space for development.

@DeciPaliz I can't imagine it. But many commenters on this thread say so.

@sherwoodhayes859 Moscow-St.-Petersurg ( Neva M-11, toll road 669 km long) is much better than any roads in Finland. "Western speedway diameter" in St.Petersburg is better. St-Petersburg -Losevo ( fin.Kiviniemi) is better than Scandinavia. Kola - is very good...

The Scandinavia road is not the best in Russia and even in the St. Petersburg region. It's not even considered to be good. It is narrow and dangerous in some places, there is no dividing space and lighting. Ref. "Free toilets near the road". For your knowledge. On the best Russian highways (M-11 for example), where the speed limit of 130-150 km / h), there is no toilets on the road, because stopping and parking on a road are prohibited. Special places are arranged every 100 km. Usually on the gas stations. So it's impossible to go out and pee in the woods, although sometimes it would be nice. I looked at the statistics especially for you. The St. Petersburg region ranks 13th in Russia in terms of road quality. 13!!! The best roads are in the Moscow region and Siberia. @sherwoodhayes859

I agree. Finland has no need for additional territories and it makes no sense to fight for them. Russia does not need the territories of Finland with poor soils and a bad climate. Such a disposition could be a good basis for Finnish neutrality. But there are military issues. NATO seeks to establish military bases in Finland and block Russia's access to the Baltic Sea, as well as to cut the road to Murmansk at the Arctic Ocean. Therefore, a war between Russia and NATO in Finland is possible.

86% of the population of Karelia are ethnic Russians. They have their own language, religion and have no desire to join Finland. They are happy to remain in Russia, where they have always lived. Finland can reduce spending on border defense; to do this, it must return to the Russian Federation.

B.S.! Perception is not a reality, but a subjective feelings measured by Western "experts" from NATO institutions.Forget about this organization serving the interests of the West. No trust to NATO puppets. Living in St.Petersburg (Russia) I don't feel any corruption.
