Dont get me wrong, but it could work just fine even with 19th century technology.
2
A major flaw is that it wouldnt wear down at all.
2
@brickson98m oh well, nobody can build a proper engine in their house, only car giants like toyota could actually give this thing a chance. And even then, they wouldnt do so with their main engines, most likely with hydrogen ones only(since those have major friction problems)..
2
@brickson98m Its more like... if people invest in nuclear energy, they can infinitely use both electric and hyrdogen cars for way cheaper
2
Its actually less mass and less friction, your imagination is poor
2
@motioninmind6015 You read wrong.
1
@SMGJohn What you say is not close to be truth at all
1
@SMGJohn source: you dont know real history of our world, but i do
1
@maplobats you can label me as that, i will never care though
1
It would be perfect for the hydrogen engines like Toyota is making these days
1
It wont, because it cannot wear down. And modern cars are designed to break
1
It wouldnt let for that to happen at all. Didnt you watch the video?
1
@ColinWatters its a metal that doesnt have to heat up/cool down because it doesnt contact with the walls of the bore to begin with. To the point where it doesnt need much oil to work. Or doesnt need it at all
1
@ColinWatters basically, the piston is on the rails.
1
@ColinWatters Machining it precisely is not a problem at all.
1
You have such a poor imagination, though. Every of your statement is wrong, or perhaps a lie
1
This engine is less mass and less friction than a "normal". It also wont wear down. Thats why it wasnt adopted.
1
@richardwilliams9181 it wasnt produced because 1: margin profits wouild be lower 2: planned obsolescence wouldnt work on a engine like that because its way more durable and safe
1
@richardwilliams9181 if you look at the 19th century engine and tech, it still will work today, and steam tractors/excavators will work as well, even 18th century ones 😆
1
You are not very smart.
1
@gregcyrus2739 Yes, i am.
1
@gregcyrus2739 the whole world doesnt care about me being smart and the source of the absolute truth, they only care about their own personal delusions and money.
1
@brickson98m i believe that this type of engine will immediately get banned. If they banned something like M3 GTR... And cars like Viper was forced to drive with 500 kg of ballast... And AFTER that it had to be cut from V10 to V8 to stop it from winning lmao...
1
@brickson98m of course they are making more power, because there is literally no friction in the cylinder! And the engine saves a lot of weight, too! Which is amazing.
1
@glennchartrand5411 You just arent smart enough or a liar
