  1. Ironically today we celebrate the “Russian Language Day” in Russia, timed to coincide with Alexander Pushkin’s birthday. His novel in verse “Eugene Onegin” was written in unusual poetic form which has come to be known as the “Onegin stanza” or “Pushkin Sonnet”.
