  2. i remember the time when i was having language practice in china in the 90s. the chinese love to discuss the laowai (foreigners) right in front of them. and stare at them. but it's their tradition there is nothing they can do about it. that was a long time ago, maybe they have changed a little. but generally speaking they were very friendly. maybe because they had to sell their stuff to you or to make you like their restaurant etc. they are very hardworking people.
