Black history is a myth. There IS only "history" and it includes all races.
26
It'll never be enough... the fact that "black history month" exists is proof of the double standards of racism we have in the world today. Imagine the outcry if we had a "white history month". We won't of course, because that's racist. Just like "black history month" is.
21
I stopped reading when you tried to group all white people together like a racist would. Bottom line: Black History Month was created by a racist to pander to other racists. It's a racially discriminatory month that does nothing more than make the double standard of racism in the USA painfully obvious.
16
AMERICAN History.. is just that. It's the history of the nation. Black history is American history and it's ALWAYS been taught throughout the year. Why anyone would think "black history month" was anything other than a racist trying to pander to other racists is beyond me.
13
@ggslife5482 Huh? We learn about "history" throughout the year, racist. Just like we should in February. Do you really not understand how having a month that's specific to ONE race's history is racist?
13
@BlackGsUs Huh? Jesus was middle-eastern, not black. Are you serious right now? Ready a bible sometime, lol.
11
@ggslife5482 LOL! "how am I racist" ... literally the next thing you type is "history is white history". Are you an actual idiot or just pretending to be one? We learn about "history" all year long. It should never be about one race. History isn't about your little racist agenda. It's about HISTORY.
11
@ggslife5482 The ONLY people that would POSSIBLY think that history excludes things to do with blacks are people that are going through and looking at the race of everyone involved. You realize we call that racist behavior, right? A normal person wouldn't care what race people are, nor would they care whether they learn about black people or white people. I'm saying "history" doesn't include race because it's not black history, it's not white history.. it's just the HISTORY of the world with all races included. Kind of like saying "all lives matter" is about EVERYONE whereas saying "black lives matter" isn't inclusive and is racially discriminating. So... go fight that fight and try to tell people that they haven't learned about "black history" which is something only a racist would have any interest in whatsoever.
11
Africa isn't just black people... you know that, right?
10
@samuelt3236 Sure it doesn't. Keep dreaming, lol. I think you're confusing 'written history" with "white history". That's because you're an ignorant racist.
9
@ggslife5482 You're asking that question because you don't understand what racism means. You're separating people by race and focusing on race instead of the individual. That's racial discrimination... AKA racism. Plus, "history" has no race associated to it. It's just "history".
9
@ggslife5482 Under the bubble of what? Dictionary definitions and facts? Yes, thanks it's quite informative and comfortable here. So, you think because you didn't get taught that people were killed in swamps that black history isn't taught. That's your big theory? You're so concerned with "black heroes" because you're a pathetic racist. Just own it. You don't know what racism means. Own that too, idiot. Go look it up before you use it in a work situation and get laughed at.
8
@ggslife5482 No, idiot. That's not the truth... which is exactly why you saying it makes you racist. It's a falsehood you've been fed by the left-leaning media and other racists. History is NOT white-washed. There is no such thing to even do in the first place. History isn't about race... how many times do I have to say that? History is about what happened in the PAST to ALL PEOPLE. You know... not today. You're a stubborn sort of stupid, huh?
7
@ggslife5482 Who is "they" and ... I'm sorry, but are you speaking from experience? No? Then you're reading a story in a book, right? Did you know Cinderella is ALSO a story in a book? Did you believe that entire thing too? History is what it is. It's a story in a book. Some if it is entertaining, some of it is BS, but the bottom line is: It's HISTORY as in it's the PAST as in it DOESN'T MATTER. You are going on and on and on and on and on about how racist you are and how this is whitewashed and there isn't enough about blacks in specific history classes and how "American" history is white washed, etc etc etc. Please... go read your posts, racist. Let me guess, you support BLM too? Are you THAT level of stupid?
7
@ggslife5482 Why am I so upset about "black history month"... are you serious right now? It's... racist. It's racial discrimination and it's a big part of WHY we have so much racism in America right now. Did... you really not know that? Do you know what racism MEANS? Is that your big issue?
7
@ggslife5482 Wow, your ignorance is amazing. They teach about blacks during all parts of "history". They just pay especially close attention to it during the racist "black history month". How do you think people learned about blacks in history (since you're so worried about that) BEFORE the racist "black history month" was instituted? Gee... Yes, "women's month" (if there is such a thing) would be sexist. By definition. Duh? Black history month is just another example of all the racist, blacks-only institutions, events, businesses, groups, etc. that are around today. They are all racially discriminatory, all racist by definition... yet if people tried to create a whites-only version of those there would be riots and blood in the street. That's called a racism double-standard and it's totally unacceptable at this point in our society. Nobody should create a white history month, by the way... that would be utterly racist and made by pathetic people that don't respect themselves.
7
@ggslife5482 Wow, talk about your subjective question that completely misses the entire point. White history month would be racist. Black people are already being taught in "history" throughout the year. "black history month" isn't just textbook racial discrimination and racism, it's pointless pandering and platitudes given to the black racists. Which part of this is hard for you to understand?
7
@ggslife5482 Congrats. That's you. You are obviously very, very interested in black history because it specifically involves black people. Spoiler alert: That's because you're a racist. Most people wouldn't care about the color of someone's skin. Plus, you're such an idiot that you're asking me what I would learn that I don't know. I guess I'll have to just point and laugh since you're so STUPID that you're asking a question I can't possibly answer... and that's aside from the fact that it would be subjective on so many different levels anyway.
7
@samuelt3236 You idiot... hahaha. Since when is racism JUST racial bias? Or... since when was it racial bias at all? Hmmm... yeah, no mention of "racial bias" in the definition of racism. Too funny. But, hey.. you keep believing in "white history", dolt.
6
@dannygoog9654 All races' history is "history". It should never be separated out. That's racial discrimination.
6
@dannygoog9654 Why was black history month created? Racism. Platitudes. We learned everything as a HISTORY class, not as segregated, racially discriminatory history that only involves one race. Somehow we learned all this stuff BEFORE they started shoving racism down our throat with "black history month". Weird how that works.
6
Anything that focuses on race should go... anything that separates people by race and focuses on the race instead of the individual is racial discrimination... AKA racism. We were all but done with that until about a decade ago and everything started slipping back to the days of segregation.
6
No kidding... people will whine about anything.
5
That's because it happened a long time ago and it doesn't matter now... literally... it has no effect on today. It's something people keep bringing up like that "classic rock" station you mentioned that plays the same old crap on repeat. "slavery", "slavery", "slavery". Sorry, folks. It's time to move on from things that didn't happen to you hundreds of years ago by people that aren't alive.
5
How is that a step in the right direction? Learning about whose culture? Please, be specific.
5
@ryanw9122 There is no such thing as a race's culture. That's idiotic to even suggest. So, naturally I'm asking "whose culture" they are referencing.
5
Yeah, I missed "black panther". I don't support movies that cast an entire cast of just one race. It's incredibly racist. Plus the movie itself made white people out to be bad, etc. Not to mention the name of the movie was dubiously racist. No thanks.
5
Culture can be acknowledged and "celebrated" without separating people by race. Race is not the same as culture.
5
Wow, you totally missed the point. What's Columbus day have to do with a race? Plus, Native Americans are actually US. Native means born here. The American-Indians were not Americans until America was created.... that should be obvious. So, you're an idiot on many levels.
5
It.. IS American History. "black history" has always been part of American History courses and is taught throughout the year. People are just dumb.
5
You can't grow brain cells, sorry. You're either born to be conservative or you're just not very smart.
5
That's called "sarcasm", Einstein. Do they have that on the liberal planet you're from?
4
King Krispy There are white people from every corner of the world... every nation, every continent. Why wouldn't there be a possibility that whites are from East Africa? Seriously?
4
@thatguy1251 Wow, says the guy that didn't refute anything or even bring up a counterpoint. Your post is rather ironic, wouldn't you say?
4
Gstarbaby Too many snowflakes melting? Is that causing flooding?
4
It is... it always has been. Why do some idiots think that stopped? haha.
4
@Shimaz Munshi Moron.. there are white people in Africa, geezus. You're dumb. Yeah, there was one white guy in the movie in the leading cast. Plus almost the entire "kawanda" or whatever population was one race. So.. everything I said was spot-on. You're just too stupid to understand it.
4
@Shimaz Munshi There are whites in every country in Africa according to every single demographic listing on the internet. Even South Africa where there are 10% whites. So, really... you're an idiot. Keep proving it though... this is deeply entertaining.
4
@Shimaz Munshi Wow... Wakanda is imaginary... idiot. They could have made it 90% white if they wanted to or whatever they wanted to. But, they decided to make it 100% black and talk about "oppression" and how they escaped the tyranny of white people, etc. The whole movie was racist, lol. Even the title. So, really.. you can stop.
4
@knowledgeiskey1319 Uhh.. You are the one that tried to say cultures should be "celebrated" which is utter stupidity at its finest.
4
king of thekripy That's.. not what genocide means and killing 20,000 natives means what? Sounds like a war. So, is every single member of the military a "genocider" to you? LoL... crawl back to your hole and rethink your response.
4
Really? You think people attending college are being oppressed somehow? LOL! Yeah... that's pretty stupid.
4
@Agent-cj5uk And it's just as racist of a month there too. His point was that it shouldn't be segregated into race. It just just be "history".
4
@thecreepnextdoor7560 Anyone who doesn't agree with facts is an idiot - me.
4
Do something for yourself. Why would you expect a racist hate group to do something for anyone but themselves? THINK.
4
No.. I had no idea... tell me all about it.
3
I can't tell either... you're illiterate.
3
King Krispy 80% of what is ... what?
3
King Krispy You're almost there. 80% of Africa is.... what? And you're calling someone else a dumbass? Seriously?!
3
King Krispy Yes, actually they are in every nation, every continent and every corner of the Earth. Remember back when I said that? It's... still true.
