@NeilHawkins-f1l he's 0-1-1 against Lenroy Thomas
1
@derriet6806 Wilder isn't in good form against genuine top 5 Heavyweights. Dave Allen is in "good form" against a novice rugby player.
1
@derriet6806 Dave Allen was left paralysed in an ambulance by a washed David Price who'd been KO'd 5 times
1
@Gorguruga and what happened to Dave against Ortiz? He got his head caved in and half of his tongue torn off
1
@Gorguruga different fight because he beat a novice rugby player?
1
@Gorguruga ah yes the experience of going 0-1-1 with Lenroy Thomas, being left paralysed by a washed up David Price and quitting against Fraser Clarke
1
@Gorguruga you keep bringing up fighters who are proven at elite world level and comparing them to someone who went 0-1-1 for the Commonwealth title. Its very very strange
1
@Gorguruga the big deal is that Allen has lost to guys at British level and never actually won at anything beyond that level but you're comparing him to world champions for some reason. You either have mental issues or are poorly attempting to troll
1
@Gorguruga the mental gymnastics are insane. How does Luis Ortiz from then beating the current Wilder make Dave Allen any better 😂😂😂
1
@Gorguruga he also didnt try to fight a prime David Price and got left paralysed in an ambulance
1
@Gorguruga right and we heard the same thing when Dave had a decent win over Lucas Browne, who was crap, but a damn sight better than Johnny Bosh Fisher. He was then matched against a washed David Price who (unlike Wilder) never was at world level and had been KO'd 6 times but still proceeded to pulverise Dave's brains in and leave him paralysed fearing for his life in an ambulance and talking about topping himself a few weeks later but yeah let's run it back!😂😂
1
@Gorguruga Danny Williams actually won a British title. Dave hasn't won an Area title and is 0-1-1 with Lenroy Thomas. Lets face it, the fight isn't going to happen. Dave is trying to get his name out there and I don't blame him but what's worrying is people who call themselves boxing fans are so swayed by a win over a novice rugby player. The same people will say Dave should've stayed at domestic level when hes left fighting for his life in hospital again
1
@Gorguruga and we go back to the "perfect matchmaking" of putting Dave in with a washed up David Price who'd been KOd 6 times but still left Dave paralysed and wanting to off himself. But oh wait it was because of "styles" 😂😂 what part of Dave's slow plodding forward with no head movment style makes him a perfect antedote for Wilder? Why don't we put him in with Joshua who also just got knocked out?
1
@Gorguruga shall we go to him being 0-1-1 against Lenroy Thomas? Or quitting against Fraser Clarke? Bringing up people like Lennox Lewis now 😂😂 you're either trolling or one of the mind less followers that believes everything Eddie Hearn tells them. But yeh Dave's back. Brain Damage Tour 2025. The first time was so nice, we have to do it twice!
1
@Gorguruga Lets face it, its not happening. Wilder has a fight lined up and he's not coming to the UK to fight Allen. So why don't we stick Dave in with Joshua? Both UK based and are under the same stable. Joshua just got the living daylights battered out of him and knocked stiff so is on a downward trajectory. Dave is flying and in his prime apparently. Sounds like a pickem to me.
1
@Gorguruga Wilder has his next two fights lined up so its not happening. The Joshua fight is a lot easier to make both being at Mathcroom and neither have anything booked. Joshua is apparently trying to fight Jared Anderson so why not Dave? Anderson has looked terrible in his last couple of fights. Dave is the best hes ever been. Why are you against the fight?
1
@Gorguruga why are you randomly shoehorning Fury in but are accusing me of deflecting? 😂😂 Fury is retired and was never mentioned. Wilder is booked up for the rest of the year which you keep ignoring also. So why not Joshua vs Allen in December? Stylistically its a better fight for Dave as Joshua doesn't hit as hard as Wilder and tends to fold more easily under pressure. Neither have an opponent and both with Matchroom. Why not? If Dave wins, it could tempt Wilder over to the UK next year and get his dream fight.
1
@Gorguruga nope he said on an interview that he already has his next fight lined up so hes not available. And getting him to come to the UK for Allen isn't realstic anyway without a huge financial incentive. That's where Joshua comes in. Both UK based and under the same promotional banner so it its a piece of cake to make. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't happen next. Winner can face Wilder at Wembley next year.
1
@Gorguruga how? Joshua doesn't have any fights lined up, is an active fighter, UK based and with Daves promotional company. How could it not make sense? I haven't heard a reason.
1
@Gorguruga Fury is a retired fighter and isn't coming back for anything less than a major fight. Joshua is looking to rebuild after getting smashed to bits and is already talking about facing Jared Andersen. How does Dave not make sense? Still not heard a reason from you.
1
@Gorguruga how come when you bring up Fury, Klitschko, Lennox Lewis etc for no reason, it's ok but when Joshua's name gets mentioned, you get all precious and defensive? I've just told you if Fury does come back, it'll be straight into a big fight. He isn't the one talking about rebuilding and facing the likes of Jared Andersen & Dillian Whyte who have both looked poor in recent fights. Dave is in the form of his life and stylistically is an intriguing fight against Joshua. If AJ gets through Allen, it could earn him the payday he wants against Fury. You keep saying it doesn't make sense but haven't given a reason why
1
@Gorguruga why is it you can bring up Fury constantly in this thread and other unrelated boxers like Lennox Lewis but when someone dares mention Joshua, it's an "obsession" on their part? If Dave wants a big fight, I can't see a more perfect matchup out there for him. You keep saying you'd watch it and then immediately deflect and start ranting about Fury who is a retired fighter and isn't talking about doing another rebuilding phase or coming back at all so it's irrelevant at this point. Just like Wilder who has his next fights planned out. The noises coming out of the Joshua camp are far different. He needs a fight and Dave is ready, willing and available. How does the Joshua fight make "less sense" (your words) than a guy who is tied up and another who is currently retired and not looking at rebuild fights?
1
@Gorguruga I never said I believed Fury would never come back but at this stage, its irrelevant to even talk about it because he hasn't annouced hes coming back. What part are you not getting? And the "marketing ploy" would be to get more money for a big fight. If he starts talking about needed to rebuild and fight prospects like Jared Anderson, it'd make sense in this discussion but he isn't. Joshua is. Hes allegedly an active fighter and is looking for a dance partner. Wilder has a dance partner and said he has a fight overseas lined up next but obviously can't name the opponent before he gets through his next fight. Joshua is literally available to fight and has the same promoter. You still haven't explained why a currently retired fighter and a guy who has fights lined up with another promoter makes "more sense" than a guy who is a stablemate of Dave's.
1
@Gorguruga again Fury has not annouced any intentions of coming back as of yet or of fighting anyone at Dave's level. Why are you ignoring these points? The only person Fury has shown interest in fighting since retirement is Usyk which is at elite level. Joshua is the one looking at Jared Anderson and Whyte who are arguably lower than Dave Allen at this point. He shied away from the Dubois rematch and has been out the ring almost a year. Maybe he sees Dave as too big a risk.
1
@Gorguruga why do you keep ignoring the fact that Fury has made no announcement to come back and has never said he wants to fight at Dave's level? Whilst Joshua is actively looking at worse opponents at Dave. You keep repeating yourself and ignoring this.
1
@Gorguruga you just ignored my question and deflected again. You've been bringing up Fury since the start of this discussion for absolutely no reason but as soon as someone mentions Joshua who is active and looking to fight at Dave's level, you get all defensive and upset 😂😂
1
@Gorguruga but what does Ngannou vs Fury have to do with anything? You've been bringing it up in every post since the beginning of this discussion, way before I mentioned Joshua. As soon as someone mentions Joshua, who is far more relevant being an active fighter in the same stable and country as Dave and looking for an opponent of Dave's level, you call them obsessed. Why is that?
1
@Gorguruga Talking about choosing Herndon as the opponent and his plans for the remainder of the year, the Alabama native said: "I think it’s a great selection. We’ve got a lot of fights lined up for this year. We’re looking to have maybe three this year. The next one’s going to be a big one outside of the country and we’re looking to do one more at the end of the year" Now we can officially remove Wilder from the discussion but I'm sure you'll ignore this and keep being "obsessed" 👍🏻
1
@Gorguruga because the quote is from before Allen even rematched Fisher so he wasn't even on the radar. Wilder says his next fight is a big one overseas which is set in stone, then hopefully a third before the end of the year. Shelly Finkley mentioned the third fight is more likely next year. That could be Dave or AJ so it would seem logically that they box each other in a big fight in the UK next with the winner to challenge Wilder.
1
@Gorguruga interview with 78SportsTV. You already denied the quote existed and when I post it, you move the goalposts again. Just admit you were proved wrong buddy. You are the one that's been banging on about Fury since waaaaaay before I mentioned AJ. So if it's an "obsession" on my part, it must be a borderline sexual infatuation with Fury you have. Care to explain?
1
@Gorguruga interview with 78sportsTV. You've already gone down the route of trying to say I made it up, then I prove you wrong and you move the goalposts again. You need to just accept reality. Wilder isn't available. You have been banging on about Fury since above 3 posts into this As soon as anyone brings up your golden boy, you get all flustered and start calling them "obsessed" 😂😂. So what does that make you with Fury since you've been bringing him up waaaay before I mentioned AJ?
1
@Gorguruga not really cos I didn't bring AJ up till much later and you immediately started getting all precious and hurt over his name being mentioned 😂😂😂 even though your own logic means that he's an ideal opponent for Allen.
1
@Gorguruga triangle theories don't work in boxing. Fury fought to a split decision against Ngannou and then did the same against Usyk in his next fight. Does that mean Usyk and Ngannou are the same level? It was Usyk who said Fury gave him his toughest fight along with Chisora. Joshua's name wasn't mentioned Im afraid. He probably put up the worst effort of all the Brits including Bellew.
1
@Gorguruga why did Usyk say it was his toughest fight then? I think I'll take the word of the man that was actually in the ring. He even said Chisora was more of a challenge than Joshua 😂😂
1
@Gorguruga Usyk responded on the Three Knockdown Rule podcast when asked who was his toughest and hardest hitting opponent: "Toughest fight - yes it was Fury. "Biggest punch - no. Because Derek Chisora, very tough guy Again lets stick to the facts. Where's Joshua's name? 😂😂😂
1
@Gorguruga it's also on video Usyk saying what his toughest fights were and you're still denying it. Are you that much of a Joshua fanboy that you can't accept reality and gone as low as to call a man like Usyk a liar? That's a level of fanboyism that goes beyond obsessive. Joshua's not even the hardest puncher Usyk faced. Imagine it must be painful as a Joshua disciple that not only did he not get mentioned at all, he got put below Dereck Chisora for punching power 😂😂 his bread and butter attribute!
1
@Gorguruga why would he lie about that and mug off Joshua? You are actually a much worse fanboy than I even anticipated. Its getting derranged now. Imagine attacking the man's religion because you're so upset he didn't mention Joshua 🤣🤣🤣
1
@Gorguruga I didn't ask if you cared. We can all see you do 😂😂. I asked why Usyk wouldn't mention Joshua specifically. Just say you can't answer the question and we can move on. I know it hurts 😢
1
@Gorguruga he's given multiple interviews where he's said the same thing so why would he specifically leave out Joshua? What does he have against him? Answer the question or just admit you can't because your logic is collapsing on itself.
1
@Gorguruga the quote I gave was after the first fight. It was the same interview where he called Joshua "still water" 😂😂. Hes never ever included Joshua among his toughest fights or even hardest puncher. What does he have against Joshua? You still wont answer
1
@Gorguruga whether hes mentioned Fury in one interview and Chisora in another, one thing we do know for sure is that he's never ever mentioned AJ. That we can confirm 😂. Why would he lie? I can't see you've been defeated by that particular question. Oh and I'm not only interested in Usyk's opinion. Let's circle back to our man Dave who regularly says that Fury & Usyk are the two best fighters he's been in the ring with, giving Fury the slight edge. He has also mentioned how he boxed Joshua's head off in front of Rob McCracken 😂😂 now is Dave a liar? Are you going to find out his religion and go on some crazed Kanye style rant the way you did against Usyk? 🤣🤣
1
@Gorguruga when you answer why Usyk would not include Joshua among his toughest fights or biggest puncher and what he has against him, I'll be happy to. You've avoided it a record number of times. Unfortunately you aren't afforded the privilege of asking questions until then.
1
@Gorguruga but there's no "if" about it. Usyk simply doesn't consider Joshua among his toughest fights. He's never mentioned him once in that conversation. He described him as "still water" because his style was so basic and easy to figure out. You've then accused Usyk of being a liar and attacked his religion but I still don't know why he would lie about this. Until you correlate this, I'm afraid you don't get any privileges.
1
@Gorguruga unfortunately you have lost all credibility by refusing to answer questions. When you previously asked for sources to quotes etc, I provided them but Im afraid you're not acting in good faith. Until you explain why you've accused Usyk of lying and attacked his religion just because he thought Joshua was an easy fight, there'll be no moving past this point
1
@Gorguruga when did I do that? Ive asked you to tell us why you're so hurt by AJs exclusion from Usyks toughest fights that you decided to attack his character and religion 😂😂 do you not think you went a bit far there? I haven't attacked any boxers personally because of Fury or anyone else. Until you address this, you'll just look like a petty vindictive fanboy but you seem comfortable in that space
1
@Gorguruga or we can move on. You not so subtly avoided Dave Allen's thoughts on each fighter and immediately decided to deflect. Is Dave a liar whose been conditioned to be dishonest by his religion? 😂😂😂
1
@Gorguruga Dave's just done an interesting insta video where he says Joshua is the fight he wants the most so I'm afraid you can no longer use the excuse that he didn't "call out" Joshua. The fight is there to be made. Both UK fighters, both available, both with Matchroom plus the added spice of Dave slapping Joshua around at the Sheffield institute of sport in front of Rob McCracken. Joshua just got battered and put to sleep by one former sparring partner. Can he redeem himself against another? I've basically done Eddie's job for him!
1
@bobbylongwitz6053 you're the one that brought up sexuality, not me. Are you jealous of Nigel?
1
@zackspaulding so you let your dad kiss you on the mouth. Thanks for letting us know
