  1. Is this withdrawal a victory or acceptance of defeat by the U.S.? What are the lessons to be learned from this episode? My take is that being a super power does not mean you have unlimited power and endless resources to do everything and all things. This is a very serious humiliation for the U.S. in that after twenty years in Afghanistan and spending trillions of dollars, they achieved nothing. They are leaving the country neither as an ally or a friend.who will US blame for this foreign policy failure? Russia, china,Iran or N.korea? Very soon they will start another war with Iran. Already Israel is trumpeting Iranian nuclear threat on a daily basis and pushing the U.S. to destroy Iran with a war. Let's hope this US failure will put sense in them and let Israel know that US will not fight Iran on their behalf. Enough is enough of endless wars.
