If Putin was a drunkard, corrupt , patronizing western prostitutes, the US and UK would not care about him. But since Putin is defending Russian interest ( Russian resources for Russia) the west hates him. Putin has survived many assassination attempts, some, if not all were orchestrated by the so called western partners. They want him dead because he is the only power stopping them from achieving total world hegemony. China has a big economy but doesn't have the military muscle to stop the west. Even a US senator openly called for his assassination recently. Let's hope this things will not end up in a nuclear Armageddon.
