  1. If it was for economic development Ukraine wouldn't have been given such volumes of aid. They are doing this because they are fighting a proxy war with Russia and they also want to destroy Ukrainian state. They hope to receive Ukrainian citizens as refugees to bolster their dwindling population. Ukraine has effectively been turned into a base state with its economic power gone.
