In Vietnam US gave all the military aid they required. They even joined in the war officially but North Vietnam still won. Reason: south Vietnam were not as determined as the north Vietnamese army. In the Ukraine scenario Russia is a superior power to Ukraine. NATO is actually fighting inside Ukraine without nato uniform. NATO gives Ukraine satellite and awacs info including over hundred thousands mercenaries . Still Ukraine is l losing. In their hatred for Russia NATO underestimated Russia. Ukraine would have crumbled long ago without all these western military and economic support. Giving more arms to Ukraine will only prolong the conflict, Ukraine will still lose. Even if US & UK officially join this war, it will not change the outcome. Ukraine will still lose and will lose terribly. This is my conclusions as I read this conflict.
