  1. The only gain the west has achieved in this conflict is the millions of skilled Ukrainian refugees who are now residing in the west. The refugees will replenish the extremely low birth rate in Europe. Moreover they will supply manpower to Europe since they are highly skilled. Most of them will never return to Ukraine again. This is the reward for spending billions of dollars to fight a proxy war with Russia.
