Isn't he the 3-day resurrection specialist who got nailed to a plank by the Romans for saying it would be cool if we were all nice to each other? His dad's into infanticide, genocide and threatening people with torture in firey pits for eternity if they don't submit to his will? Heard about him...

That's a good metaphor for the rich, building on sand. They think money is everything, there are only 2 actual resources - the planet and humans. Both are exploited by the rich for transitory wealth - a human construct called money. Also a quite apt metaphor for a climate change post.

@shrach8 Nonsense, we've only lost 65% of genetic diversity at 1,000 times the natural rate of extinction, so what if large swathes of the planet are on fire and the icecaps are melting causing low lying areas to be reclaimed by the sea. I'm sure the Tories are doing everything they can, they are such a globally-minded group of philanthropic humanitarians and definitely not psychotic insular kleptocrats as some might suggest. So just enjoy watching the human race, its history and accomplishments being slowly devoured by capitalism in this surreal farcical pantomime we call life.

@davidadiwego4608 I'm sorry I don't speak dumbass...

@davidadiwego4608 I didn't say 65% of mammals, I didn't say 65% of insects. I said 65% of 'global genetic diversity' which includes plant life, sea life, and land animals - everything. That is accurate and your semantics are a waste of my time and your own. So I tried to end this pointless debacle yesterday...

@davidadiwego4608 Stop using semantics to further your pathetic argument. " I said 65% of 'global genetic diversity' which includes plant life, sea life, and land animals - everything." Not playing this game of imbecile any longer...

@davidadiwego4608 You missed the point that it doesn't matter. 65% of genetic diversity is the loss of ecosystems that all life is dependant on. How much time are you going to waste with semantics while being unable to take the point at face value? I'm not interested in your paranoid conspiracies that the people responsible for this are exaggerating the extent to extort you. They already extort you and now planted conspiracy theories in your head so you'll ignore their unconscionable xenocide. Don't drag this out, I know the point you're trying to make, but you are missing the big picture and it's annoying as hell...

@davidadiwego4608 There are thousands of ecosystems that are being lost. "Loss of biodiversity appears to affect ecosystems as much as climate change, pollution and other major forms of environmental stress, according to results of a new study by an international research team" "Biodiversity loss is caused by five primary drivers: habitat loss, invasive species, overexploitation (extreme hunting and fishing pressure), pollution, climate change associated with global warming. In each case, human beings and their activities play direct roles."

@davidadiwego4608 You're incredibly thick, I can't be arsed to keep repeating myself and quoting articles for someone who is unable to grasp simple facts. No matter how deluded by conspiracy theories anyone with a brain larger than a pea would be alarmed by 65% loss at 1,000 times the natural rate of extinction. Don't reply again or I'll block you, I've wasted hours trying to explain the basics to you and going around in circles. I'd have more luck teaching a fish to ride a bicycle...

@davidadiwego4608 It's 'You're' not 'Your' and sentences start with a capital letter. You don't have a reasoned argument you have semantics which was rebutted in my first reply to you. Yet you've continued a circular debate because you aren't smart enough to recognise that fact. I've already answered your points but no matter how I phrase the reply you seem unable to grasp basic concepts like the relationship between all life via ecosystems. You can't see the relationship between the loss of biodiversity or the effects it's had on the planet and so accuse me of quoting unrelated arguments lol. Talk about not being able to see the wood for the trees. It's like trying to talk a trifle into sentience. Learn how to at least punctuate, spell and apply grammar to a sentence before calling others thick...

Jim Carrey Thank you for so eloquently proving you're really bad at analogies, logic and linear time :)

Jim Carrey No I'm pretty sure that will be your epitaph. PS You do realise you are the reason we have to print instructions on shampoo bottles?

Jim Carrey Was going to leave you alone and stop humiliating you as I felt I was bullying a simpleton. But after your comment on a different thread, I see what you lack in intellect you more than make up for in stupidity...
