It sued six clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in Surrey, Surrey County Council and NHS England after it lost out on a £82m contract to run children's services in the area in 2016. The contract was instead given to Surrey Healthy Children and Families Services and two social enterprises. At the time, Virgin Care, which previously had a contract in Surrey, said it was "concerned that there may have been serious flaws in the procurement process". “Never before have we been so concerned with the whole process that we have needed to make a challenge of this nature." The six CCGs paid Virgin an undisclosed sum to settle the case out of court in November 2017. It was later reported that Surrey Downs CCG had a liability of £328,000 to a private company. The reference to the figure was later removed from the financial report."

@tommyk1210 No, you don't understand. He has been consistently dodging taxes and ripping off the British taxpayer, it's a personality trait and he is responsible for his actions and that of his businesses. If he was handed £2 billion in NHS contracts and failed to make a profit he is either inept, incompetent or more likely hiding his profits, using offshore tax havens and tax loopholes. If you can't make a profit you shouldn't be in business and if you don't pay the legally required corporation tax for the privilege of using taxpayer institutions and infrastructure, you're a scumbag.

@tommyk1210 Parasitic global multi-nationals get Labour where it's cheapest and sell their product at the highest price, while hiding profits, using tax dodges and loopholes and funnelling their profits to offshore accounts. They drain every society they infect and are role models to struggling billionaires like Branson. Feel free to continue to defend the parasitic worm, I've made my case eloquently and with evidence. I don't need to explain to you how the world really works. I have some fresh paint drying, that I'm looking forward to watching.

@tommyk1210 I've already provided the evidence, that a corporation gets £2 billion of our taxes in contracts from the NHS then claims a loss and pays absolutely no corporation tax. It's a scam, Branson used every trick in the book, many 'legal' ways to avoid to tax as well as many other illegal ways - hiding profits, putting losses from one company on to another and vice versa, tax loopholes, offshore accounts, funnelling money through low tax countries. Search for Branson and tax avoidance you'll find dozens of articles from a variety of sources. Like I said, I'm not here to educate you, you get butthurt coz Branson's your mom and ignore any argument or evidence given you. Look for yourself!
