@ChrisMuehlberger60 Capitalism is at the root of human greed. By that I mean the fallacies we're taught about hard work paying off (child sweatshops), trickle-down economics, get what you pay for, nothing is free, onwards and upwards, gotta tread on a few toes to climb the ladder etc... We're acclimatised to capitalist BS from nursery school...

@jasonc3589 You must be on a sledge attached to the back of the train then. The evolution of ideas and materials is a group effort. I'm not sure if Descarte, Dante, Newton, Aristotle, Archimedes, Pythagoras, Machiavelli, Plato etc became millionaires but they had a huge effect on human evolution. Alexander Fleming didn't bother to patent his bread mould (Penicillin) as he wanted it to be a gift to humanity. Tesla died in poverty but his gifts to the world were priceless... Imagine assuming any one of these people were useless members of society before their breakthrough...
