@sw1000xg So Syrians, Afghans, Iraqis, Lybians etc are not fleeing war? lol. Why would they want to come to a country with 22% of its people in poverty? and risk drowning? seriously I'm not replying to you again as you have no idea what you're talking about...
2
Overcrowding and disease outbreaks, allowing the Tories to treat people like this is the reason they think they get away with treating the British public so poorly...
2
Like he has a choice, he was not chosen by some divine entity to make decisions for the human race. He does not have the power to deem countries worthy of independence, just a huge amount of privilege and entitlement to think he does.
2
Agree with your sentiment and the sentiment of the reply. He won't be sacrificing anything, just profiting from dodgy charities and taxpayer's money as he always has. And yes it's you/us that are to be sacrificed as we always have. Us plebs do the work, they take the credit as always.
2
@summerbankboy You could have just said you're completely politically illiterate. You know myths only. The media are predominantly right-wing, PC is their creation. We've left the EU so stop blaming them, migrants actually add more than they take compared to a native UK citizen. You are a working-class Tory peddling their myths. Hope your day is as nice as you are!

Evacuated 9,000 from Kabul at great expense and risk but the 20 Afghans who made their own way here whilst risking their lives on the open ocean to turn up on the beach will be sent away...
2
Real or black op? who knows...
2
Terror attack?, 2nd amendment nut?, black flag Op? US randomly manifesting its destiny? We'll never know...
2
Many are wearing natural materials. But Yea, that's kinda the point. Our reliance on oil has ruined the climate. Wake up and smell the ozone layer buddy...

Boris Johnson: the marquis of mayhem, the duke of duplicity, the viscount of vacuousness, the baron of buffoonery, the earl of egomania, the prince of pork pies, the count of clusterf*cks, the oligarch of omnishambles, the king of the kleptocratic cockwombles.
2
@matt-lo8ut Yes, ofcourse wages didn't fall, everything else rose in price making relative spending power far less. I appreciate your point of view but have to state the percentage gains are meaningless in my opinion, when compared to the cost of living, energy, mortgages, shopping rises. The small percentage doesn't mitigate the accumulated cost of living rise. But thankyou for the perspective.
2
Boris is not completely useless, he at least serves as a bad example. He recently thought he'd invented a new word: Plagiarism! I rarely agree with him as then we'd both be wrong. I wish he'd visit the restaurant called Karma, there's no menu, you just get what you deserve.

Sunak, the Tories and the UK are a laughing stock. In the space of a decade, we've gone from a world leader to a regressive society of insular sheep with the backbone of a jellyfish. Manipulated by the wealthy and their media circus the general public has allowed the Tories to strip the country of assets, mitigate our rights and reduce us to poverty.
2
@foofung9961 Radical/Extreme/Far left=people who protest and risk their lives against a brutal police state, for human rights, a fair society, security in their old age, a job that pays enough to support a family, an end to racism, a decent society to bring up their families. Radical/Extreme/Far left=human.
2
@yaraelpoof7242 Labour reduced debt to GDP by 4% before the GLOBAL financial crisis which affected 30-40 countries tied to the US dollar. The £350 bank bailout was a cross-party decision. The Tories are responsible for creating over 2/3rds of our National Debt and have given us a debt to GDP ratio of almost 100% while thinning the anaemic pound further by creating £400 billion in bonds. Not to mention the mass corruption and cronyism. Try learning facts before spouting blatant propaganda.
2
@theautisticcreative2619 I've tried to be polite but you just repeat the same arguments, unaware of what a circular debate is. I'm Welsh and white. My racial pain comes from my culture being beaten out of Welsh children a century ago. You have no argument, you're just defending the commemoration of a brutal murderer. Your comments are about as much use as an ashtray on the international space station.
2
@psilocybinenthusiast3695 Statues don't contain history and the plaque didn't state any of his unpleasant activities... I don't really give a flying f what racists think to be honest. Talking to you is like trying to talk a trifle into sentience...
2
@theautisticcreative2619 Your first 5 points are irrelevant, and I'm not sure anyone could argue in favour of any without dropping reason and logic. Your last point is back to circular debate and a point that hasn't previously been mentioned that only proves your lack of logic. All statues are of a specific race, culture, ethnicity... what you mean is that that you don't like having a minority statue, despite the fact that 99% of all other statues represent white culture... As for the oppression comment, it contradicts your previous point. But I can't spend the time explaining that to you because I'm trying to teach a whale to fly, as it's easier than talking to you...
2
@theautisticcreative2619 Trump did though when he signed the Doha peace treaty with the Taliban in 2020, unilaterally committing future presidents to that agreement... Biden is a centrist paid for by corporate lobbyists and certainly not left. Thinking without emotion has a name, it's called psychopathy... I could correct more but there really is no point...
2
Now my comments are being removed... so I'll repost. "I'm well aware of autism, it doesn't mean I can't correct illogical or erroneous statements you make. The fact you advertise your medical condition and keep mentioning it doesn't help debate either... I'm treating you as a human being, I'm not going to ignore nonsense statements or patronise you because you're on the autistic scale. Read the DOHA agreement instead of making more erroneous statements. The US under the Trump administration left billions of dollars worth of weaponry in the Taliban hands before Biden was even selected as a presidential candidate. Listen to the testimony of US Head of central command Gen Frank McKenzie."

That's wonderful, such philanthropic humanitarians. I'm sure they also welcomed Afghans, Iraqis and Libyans in exactly the same way, no?
2
The Crime is Sinister with our Primed Minister, a distraction from party gate for a short attention span electorate...

lol, that's the dumbest thing I've seen today, and you had a lot of competition...

Send her on a pork-trading tour of the middle east?

I hope you are aware that Orwell was an outspoken Socialist who fought alongside Communists against the rising Franco fascism in Spain.
1
@The_Reality_Filter My point is simply that many on the right who use Orwell to defame the left, while espousing conspiracy, seem blissfully unaware of the intent of Orwell's warning about authoritarianism and totalitarianism... And the references to a fake Socialist party in 1984 that are actually fascist, which parallels a certain Austrian born German leader... I'm not assuming that is you, but just pointing out that fact.
1
@The_Reality_Filter There is little difference between the leaders of the left and the leaders of the right. This is because since the 90s the left has been infiltrated by centrist neoliberals. Which means we have a choice between red or blue flavoured neoliberalism. But underneath the leadership level is the ideology which couldn't be more different. Right-wing think tanks want you to believe there is no difference between left and right as it serves their interests, but ideology is far more important. The right ideology supports corporate greed and turning us into cash cows. Left ideology is about shared ownership and fair society where we are not dictated to by billionaires. PS if you mistrust Eric Blair then feel free not to paraphrase him.
1
@The_Reality_Filter Left ideology is the sharing of resources and workers owning the tools of production, I've already pointed out that you are conflating infiltrators who lead the left, with ideology. It's a Paraphrasing of Eric Blair/Orwell's message from his books by Klaus Schwab...
1
@The_Reality_Filter I've corrected your ignorance repeatedly, if you can't learn new information then the debate is about as pointless as a rubber beak on a woodpecker...
1
@The_Reality_Filter No you seem to misunderstand that leaders of a political party that are corrupt in a system where democracy is an illusion is completely separate from ideology. I'm sick of wasting my time repeating the same points. You are incapable of learning...
1
@petercollins7848 No I didn't say anything like that, you have obvious trouble inter[preting language. I haven't been able to afford central heating for two years and so haven't used it and I still can't afford the costs. The help goes straight into the bumper profits of energy companies, how does that help the poor? Many energy companies have paid zero windfall tax, it's a con and does little to limit the bumper profits. They are not subsidising the cost of energy they are adding to the national debt that we poor people pay for in interest rates and through GDP and tax hikes. You understand little and say nothing intelligent or useful. PS this thread is 3 months old, how petty and pedantic are you? Your comment is as pointless as your time...

That'll get them all in the mood for the nice relaxing disappointing holiday that awaits...

Gaslighting set to 120%...
1
lol seriously bro stop reading right-whinge nonsense... If they had just one of those backers - Blackrock - they have a corporation that handles investments worth 10 trillion dollars backing them and they wouldn't need to write on bits of cardboard and stand in the streets. They'd be on every talk show, news show, billboard, and have their own TV adverts. They wouldn't need to leave their homes...

Conceited Unctuous Narcissistic Troglodyte Society.
1
Conflict of interest is something Starmer would also know a lot about. Rishi - chancellor of the exchequer during an unprecedented rise in the cost of living that is leaving people destitute and he's defending his wife's tax avoidance. Yes, it may be legal, but it's still immoral and unconscionable during the present crisis.
1
@Neil-Aspinall Afghans love weed and wine it's just the women they have a problem with. Misogynists are a global phenomenon, not restricted to Afghanistan.
1
@cup1966wow I'm aware of how the system works and calling me arrogant when you don't seem to fully understand that the crown estates and overseas territories' lack of transparency is the mechanism used to evade tax and hide profits - among others - is amusing. The UK is responsible for the majority of corporate tax losses globally. The criminal elite's money launderer. Money is simply a human construct used to allow a tiny minority to control the vast majority of the world's 'actual' resources. All the other cons are just the icing on the cake...
1
If it was industrial espionage, industrial sabotage or a cyber attack by a foreign nation or group would you tell us or would you make up some story about interest rates affecting safe investments?
1
raise the legal age to 22 for ciggies and keep running the NHS into the ground... Talk about the cart before the wheel...
1
Agreed, He's jamming a red, white and blue economic suppository up the public's rear to make up for the tax losses from corporate non-payment and subsidies...
1
Weather and climate are two different things and the temp is 31 degrees all week in Senegal, In the interior, highs are normally around 38 °C. If it gets much hotter they won't be able to live there...
1
Cold War v2.0... Leaders on both sides are only interested in their own agenda, personal wealth and power. NATO and Russia are playing tug of war with Ukraine and this could turn into another proxy war between the West and the East like Syria...
1
Whatever erm, floats your boat? I'm glad this story is here rather than something worthwhile written by a proper investigative journalist...
1
No one wants a trade deal with partners they can't trust who have been proven to lie on the international stage...

If idiots could fly, Tory HQ would be a bloody airport...
1
Stand up to the gun lobby or continue to see your children murdered by other children. It's that simple. Over 40 mass shootings per month is not normal...

He's jamming a red, white and blue economic suppository up the public's rear to make up for the tax losses from corporate non-payment and subsidies...

More tech articles, being a Luddite I've had enough of tech articles appearing on my PC, Mobile phone, Tablet, Kindle, and Laptop...
1
That'll fix the economy, the cost of living, energy prices, the housing market and the NHS, not... Why don't the government ban shamelessly profiteering politicians who ruin a country's economy and show contempt for the public?
