If you look closely you can see what's left of her battered, withered soul desperately trying to escape the fetid, rotten cage of flesh in which it's entrapped...
11
lol you know there's a transcript of the conversation and that Hussey apologised and resigned...
11
Yes, of course they will, right after pigs start to fly in the pink sky of a nuclear wasteland...
11
She predicted a financial crisis and that debt would rise and rise? So did Karl Marx in 1867... Capitalism is inherently flawed...

Those incompetent kleptocratic cockwombles have been costing us thousands of lives per month for a decade and making excuses. First it was the 30,000 excess deaths a year in the NHS caused by the cuts. Now they can't even arrange the simplest logistical tasks with lives at risk.
10
It's voter suppression if you pay taxes in the UK you already have an ID and are entitled to vote!
10
Deplorable actions, which I'm sure the Tories will use to justify more authoritarian legislation...
10
Maybe it's because our only choice is between red, yellow or blue neoliberalism.
10
lol sovereignty loving Brexiteers are happy to be spending our money on a problem the Tories manufactured. Priceless...
10
Why do I think Baldrick plan whenever I see Boris plan...

@barriewilliams4526 I'm just so overwhelmingly grateful that Brexit has improved the lives of Brits all over the Union. How smooth the transition was and how quickly all the border, import and export issues were solved. I was especially pleased with how little money was spent on administration and how the UK's standing improved on the global stage, especially in Europe. There were virtually no financial losses and the pound kept soaring ever higher. The UK has become unified and we all feel a closer kinship with the world. It was like a dream come true and there were hardly any teething problems as you'd expect with such a huge endeavour. Not to mention the extra investment we now provide the NHS as a result. The Tories protected the GFA at all costs. They made a plan right at the beginning and stuck to it all the way through, for a seamless transition, without aggravating a precarious peace. While implementing border controls that were easy to understand and smooth sailing for all involved. So glad we didn't lose any of the trading deals and relationships that took decades to build. An all-around success story for the UK. Now all that's left to do is to sit back and enjoy all those wonderful benefits with a nice cup of Sovereign Tea and a trip to the sunlit uplands to feed my Unicorns...

Did the rain cause the flood? did the sun cause the drought? Of course, she is responsible and should be met with the full force of the law!
10
@ozer9529 No, I voted for Corbyn and against Brexit. I'm not as foolish as most and not a politically illiterate sychophant...

Tens of thousands of old women will die from hypothermia this year as they do every year. Actually many more than usual due to the cost of energy. But hey, let's talk about feudal systems of governance and the privileged...

The solution is a sustainable resource-based economy, ecologically friendly and using modern technology to keep power in the hands of all, rather than allowing corrupt politicians and corporate lobbyists to override democracy. But the problem is that rich people don't like that solution.
9
Agreed, but the elite don't give away power, it has to be taken.
9
Agreed, we've lost over 5,000 mental health nurses, 22,500 Police officers, over 23,000 support staff and the NHS has to deal with cuts, outsourcing and stealth privatisation as well as a staff shortage of over 100,000.
9
@simongigney2138 Agreed, but what we have to understand is that the wealthy are very special people, they deserve every luxury our poverty can provide them!
8
@titteryenot4524 Grit, realism, the human condition and societal questions are 100% of Shakespearian literature. You have nothing more than a petty pedantic argument and an arrogance that assumes you're some intellectual messiah. You're not, you have an opinion and if you don't like my comments simply refrain from posting a response. If you want to hero-worship Shakespeare that's up to you, from my point of view - determined by the hundreds of Authors I've read - Ren's lyricism and poetry is best encapsulated in my comparison.

Wildfires kill very few Americans it's mainly property damage, though the ecological damage and damage to wildlife are relevant... If only they were as concerned about their gun problem which kills around 50,000 people a year...
8
Cold War v2.0 turning into a Warm War. Who could have predicted that? I'm just glad nuclear proliferation restarted and we have egotistical megalomaniacs running the show...
8
@robjose888 I read a nurse in a £23,000 a year position would get roughly the equivalent of £36,000, But that's from memory so no worries I could be wrong.
8
@Francois_Dupont You could have typed something witty or intelligent, instead, you typed a redundant question that a child of 5 would have been able to answer...
8
@timcomley3241 Oh look the human form of a cold shiver looking for a spine to run up...
7
If only we could find the object that ties Priti Patel to this world, the source of her power and then destroy it and in so doing send her back to the depths of the underworld, from whence she was spawned...
7
@andrewjones575 Let's not blame women for violent men. Some domestic violence occurs with no history of violence and no warning... Idiot!
7
@Sunburst42 To be honest, no one could have predicted that a government with the combined IQ of a syphilitic, crack-addicted hamster having a midlife crisis would show more incompetence than Frank Spencer in every sketch from Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em combined...
7
And you can't trust a "Special" Like the old-time copper When you can't find your way home.
7
Johnson should be in a chain gang for asset-stripping the country and feeding taxpayer money to his mate's off-shore bank accounts...
7
@OrphanAnnie10 Exactly! they should let Johnson wear a fake nose and colourful clothing while honking a horn and smashing a custard pie in his own face, something the clown may actually be capable of.
7
Did they allow the Tories to manage it?
7
@californiadreamin8423 Sorry I only communicate with higher forms of life, as soon as your reach sapience let me know...
6
@jimthompson9370 No rebuttal of my correction of your misinformation? Yes, I miss integrity, compassion, decency and the fact that we wouldn't be in this mess if we'd nationalised the energy market, had responsible economic decisions and funded the NHS...
6
@captainshakesbeard2453 You mean because I got 9 likes to a reply to you and you got 2? Yea ok m8, whatever helps you sleep at night...
6
Fash is mmmmmmm...
6
How else are the rich supposed to buy a new yacht? Unless we keep paying for the taxes that they don't pay to keep their profit margins rising, that's the important thing!
6
If I was a billionaire who owned a corporation I'd be pushing my prices up so I could make enough profit to complete my bunker before the inevitable...
6
Sing a song of sixpence, a pocket full of cash; Four and twenty kleptocrats stealing from our tax. When the country realised, they all began to sing, Get the Tories out of office or they'll sell off everything!

@lynchthis1 Thanks for that highly intellectual rebuttal of socialism. PS Karl Marx wrote Das Kapital in 1867, which is a critique of Capitalism. Which is why I put that year. The communist manifesto was written by Marx and Engels much earlier in 1848. PPS Socialism was used in Libya under a system known as the 'Green System'. Libya had no IMF debt, $150 billion in the bank, 143 tons of gold and a similar amount of silver. Every citizen had a share in the national oil and no one went hungry. Now thanks to the US, forced regime change and Capitalism Libya has human trafficking and slavery. That's what Capitalism does to wealthy socialists countries. Look at the history of US interference and regime change in S.America...

Can someone find titter a friend? he seems to be one of those self-destructive personalities, faux Bourgeoisie with urban slang. He doesn't seem to comprehend context or language very well yet claims to be a literary aficionado and critic. Some of us grew up on a council estate and as Wilde would say "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars". Titter seems quite content to look at the reflection of the stars in the urine pool he created in the gutter...
6
Bards were originally Celtic composers of eulogy and satire. Just like Ren. It seems Titter not only doesn't understand the word bard but hasn't read or understood Shakespeare...
6
@richardgallagher4880 Thankyou for proving your lack of information and unworthyness to debate. Saves me the hassle...
6
Reverse cuts, train police officers and hold them to a high standard then change legislation so that sexual and domestic abuse are punished?
6
@Starshine2007 Labour was infiltrated by Blair in the 90s and centrists still dominate the leadership. But the true left still exists and despises what Blair and now Starmer is doing to Labour. Starmer and Boris both support their donors, state and corporate lobbyists. No-one else. The 1% use bread and circus/divide and conquer to keep us fighting and slaving away for their profit. But never forget the left gave us rights, legal protection, took us out of the slums, gave us medical care and free schooling.
6
@Guney1886 Nurses are fully aware of that, from the unique perspective of the inside. But agreed, 2012 health care reforms stated any body could apply for contracts. Since then the NHS contracts have been predominantly going to for-profit providers. Our taxes going to shareholders. Tory modus operandi.

The funny thing is that in many respects, We were better off on a personal level in the stone age, with nice caves, plenty of fauna and flora to forage and all the fire you could need by rubbing two sticks together and burning dead logs. Now we have food shortages, no heating and you're not even allowed to have a wood fire unless you're middle-class and above...
6
@davidz3879 lol thanks for that, I needed a laugh. People who want to diminish their own rights for the sake of prejudice shouldn't be allowed to vote...
5
@TheWebstaff Thank you for the pointless, meaningless suggestion. Yes, I could do far better as I'm a decent human being who wasn't brought up in a bubble of privilege and self-absorption. My ideology is not Tory so I'd never represent such a self-serving belief system. If you have nothing to offer in terms of intellect or wit I suggest refraining from pointless comments in future...

Does anyone remember that old TV series with Lee Majors - The Fall Guy?
