@Jennyeq lol, you're obviously not that careful when you drive, you must have crashed and hit your head...

@timcomley3241 If you're unaware of the nations £2 trillion national debt, Debt to GDP ratio of around 100% and the recent £400 billion in bonds created to transfer money to the off-shore accounts of Tory donors and friends via cronyism, then I can't really help you old bean...
2
lol the left hate the anaemic bloodlines that enslave us to debt and treat us like cash cows. You have to love your country to see its flaws and try to change things for the better.
2
@Sonia Reynolds Wage slavery is not a way out of poverty. Over half the population are in working poverty. We have zero-hour contracts, minimum wage and nurses using food banks... That isn't a functional society, it's a feeding ground for the morally devoid rich... I've worked all my life and I'm qualified to lead audit corporations for compliance with ISO9001 standards. If you disagree with anything I've said you need to read up on geopolitics and Fractional Reserve Banking.

You could just stop buying tech from Chinese sweatshops...

@Argenta I'm not a fan of Putin and support the Ukrainian people. As for Corbyn, I pray to a 10ft effigy of him every night before I go to bed... Our ideology, that art for everyone. Socialism be thy name. Our time will come as Capitalism is undone. On Earth as it is inevitable. Give unto those your daily charity and forgive us our profits. As we forgive neoliberals who used profit against us. And lead us not into greed, but deliver us from monopolies. For thine is dialectical materialism, class struggle against the tories. For ever and ever., Ahem...

@kevinsyd2012 While I'm no fan of Blair; he used John Major's PFIs to resolve the short-term funding issues left by the Tories. The Tories then ignored the 5% cap, increased the duration of PFIs to 2035 and then added another layer with PFI2. The Tories have been pushing for their model of the NHS with private hospitals since Thatcher. Using their usual methods of defund, rundown then offer a solution of privatisation. The 2005 pamphlet written by the Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt clearly proves this and the later 2012 health and care act allows for more for-profit organisations in the NHS. Blair's healthcare reforms were unthinkable for a Labour PM, but the Tories are predominantly responsible for selling NHS assets and the outsourcing and for-profit organisations.

Where better than the home of the deep-fried mars bar to discuss the excesses of capitalism...
2
@julianshepherd2038 It's a joke as a deep-fried Mars bar is about as close to capitalist excess that we poor are allowed.
2
@Isochest Capitalism has never been Capitalism, the idea is inherently flawed. The polarization of wealth was always going to happen, giving a tiny minority a monopoly on resources. Feudalism v2.0 - Same thing with democracy, It's an illusion, lobbyists usurping the public's will is a classic example.
2
Activists? racist tw@ts more like. Gamonesque miscreants...
2
I wish you good luck in your candidacy...
2
@JohnHoward_ Hard-left conspiracy theories? lol thanks for that, was wondering what the dumbest comment I'd read this week was, looks like yours is a clear winner... Thanks for not typing anything intelligent or intentionally witty...
2
I'd rather be forced to read every Agatha Christie novel while sitting in a cold bath with a hornet's nest in the corner of the bathroom than hear any more about these two and their pathetic little spat...
2
Mobbdeepak McMacaveli Shakoor The right created that argument by installing people like Blair and Clinton, Starmer and Biden at top positions on the left. But left ideology should not be confused with supposed left-wing politicians who don't hold any left-wing political views. All the aforementioned are neoliberals and not Social Democrats. The left fought the right (rich, royals, elites) and died to claim the rights, freedoms and privileges we have, that the right-wing now seek to take away from us...
2
Even God (invisible magical omnipotent omniscient deity in the sky) doesn't like the Tories... Says it all...
2
@TheMasterblaster32 In a way, but my birth certificate is just proof I'm governmental collateral to be used at their will especially in times of war. I'm talking about dystopian corporatocracy, not just crony capitalism :)
2
@kevinparker461 There are around 600-700 thousand licensed firearms in the UK and yes plenty more than that floating around on the black market. Luckily gun crime is still relatively low in the UK but it's getting worse.
2
@bensims7501 I guess I take offence to politicians who force poverty and hunger on children and economic euthanasia on the disabled and elderly. Call me old-fashioned but I think killing people through cruel and sadistic policies is something that needs to be highlighted...
2
@YanksandBritsProductions lol if you're a Brit you were birthed for free instead of your parents paying 8k assuming a normal birth without complications. You've no doubt been given vaccinations and treated medically during your life and so made a profit on the small amount of your taxes that go to the NHS... A complicated illness will cost your mortgage in the US as I'm sure you're aware. Long-term conditions, the same. The problem is indeed the profiteering off our health care...
2
@_____alyptic Afghanistan paid dearly too not just in blood, but in fossil fuel, opium, uranium and lithium.
2
@nickssurplus I'm not a nationalist just proud of my culture and heritage, the difference between nationalism and patriotism. Nationism is predominantly linked to a desire for power. Welsh DNA has about 40% Celtic/Irish, about 20% Anglo-Saxon/German and other amounts like Scandanavian/Viking 9%, Norman/French 3% and a mixture from other European countries. English DNA has about 40% Anglo/Saxon and only 20% Celt/Irish and similar on the rest. Celts actually come from the Iberian Peninsula (Spain/Portugal) around 10-15,000 years ago according to DNA results in Ireland. Learn the history and the difference between patriotism and nationalism...

Sold to Hollywood? There is no excuse for 'losing' 154 children...
2
@thomaspower5982 No, the game has always been to turn us into cash cows without being obvious. Now they don't care to conceal the con or the contempt they have for the electorate. Kleptocrats taking bribes from corporate lobbyists is now the norm, not the exception, but 100% of the game.
2
@SA-ff9uc Energy price is over 8 times what it was in 2020, it's continually gone up. You seem delusionally ignorant of the topic... UK power prices have tripled year-on-year from August 2020 (£36/MWh) to August 2021 (£107/MWh) – a jump of £71/MWh. The UK paid £263.99 per MWh in August 2022 and it's risen considerable since then, most of our electricity comes from burning gas so the prices are interlinked.
2
@SA-ff9uc Energy prices are interlinked, Gas prices declined because of the pandemic and the fact that global usage dropped considerably. But Gas is used to create most of our electricity, and as energy prices are interlinked you need to consider the facts more logically, they are interconnected. You also didn't understand my initial comment that blamed corporations and conflated that with shareholders, Did I touch a raw nerve? Either way, the harm caused by energy prices puts profits above human life, wake up...
2
@alicianah8352 Agreed, I also like the idea of a resource-based economy that's ecologically friendly and sustainable as the Zeitgeist movement promotes.
2
@alicianah8352 Yea, we live in a time where we are seen as collateral, cannon fodder and cash cows. Consume, work and pay taxes while we silently allow a dystopian corporatocracy to take over. I also can't ignore it, the media polarise us while the Tories bring in more authoritarian legislation blocking our human rights, freedom of expression, right to protest and strike. Us Brits need to grow a backbone and learn to unify against the wealthy elitists and corporations.
2
As we all know balloons are made of ecologically friendly rubber, latex or nylon fabric... If you want to make a point try not to contribute to the problem...
1
@DaraM73 Yes, around 4,000 years before the 3-day resurrection specialist showed up.
1
@davidz3879 I'm talking about the misuse and rewriting of human rights, Plonka... Maybe you should be deported too, you don't seem of much use to society...
1
OldEnglish Ale lol at all the people who want their rights and children's rights stripped because they think migrants are the reason they can't afford to live. The Tories dip their hands in your pocket then point at migrants and you fall for it every time. After 12 years of Tory government, we're not in the EU anymore, can't blame Labour now and yet migration has increased, Doh!
1
OldEnglish Ale I didn't want these wars. I didn't vote for them. It was a cross-party decision... Sorry, I was just trying to appeal to reason and empathy, I now realise you have neither...
1
@TheAArmstrong We used missiles in Syria and sent troops to Afghanistan... Syria is a proxy war. We supported the US in many conflicts to protect petrodollar hegemony...
1
@TheAArmstrong In Afghanistan we lost 454 people. Operation Toral...

@wattyler6075 As much use as an ashtray on the international space station. As much use as a verticle ejector seat in a helicopter. PS when are you getting the band back together? We're ready.
1
@randyking8626 It took 3,000 Trump supporters weeks to think that up for me!
1
@davidmurphy563 Your comments are redundant, my comment clearly states at 100,000 a day. Anyone with reasonable intellect will make adjustments as necessary. As it stands my comment is perfectly correct and your comments seem overly pedantic.
1
@thomassidney2913 Conservative ideology and Communist ideology are polar opposites.
1
@thomassidney2913 What you mean is that all systems are open to corruption and tyranny because people are corrupt and tyrannical. This is why a system of decentralised power is essential.
1
@tosinojo7310 Global Debts are well over $289 trillion which is around 3 and a half times global GDP.
1
@stevekiberd3474 The fact you need to ask for proof says a lot about your lack of ability to do a simple search. I don't type anything that can't be checked...
1
@wodens-hitman1552 A right-whinger I assume. About as much use as a rubber beak to a woodpecker. Keep kissing the wealthy's backside...
1
@stevekiberd3474 I have proof of everything I've said, the fact that you aren't able to type a few words in a search engine isn't my problem. Your point is childish nonsense. Please do some research and stop bothering people with your ignorance...
1
@stevekiberd3474 Jesus H... Are you unable to type, everything I';ve said is well publicized and common knowledge. I can't believe you're that ignorant, are you a child?...
1
Fash is mmm in the form of corporatocracy while the decaying corpse of capitalism continues to infect the ecosystems we rely on for survival... What a piece of work is man...
1
MadArticDriver All media was the target of my comment. MSN basically covers everything of import. Here's a tip when reading news: Take the facts, ignore the opinion/interpretation. Ask yourself who gains? who loses? why am I being told this? is there anything more to the story? are they missing any of the arguments? Is this related to recent stories? Works with all media!
1
@jamesarnold7253 You mean Brexit and media lies negated his chances? You mean centrists fomenting trouble and backstabbing their legitimate leader cost Labour the election? Thanks to Corbyn the party enjoyed the biggest swing to Labour since 1945 and he increased membership from around 200k to around 580k which made Labour the biggest party in Europe. Corbyn also turned party finances around to create a surplus within 2 years. Starmer has done the exact opposite...
1
@californiadreamin8423 That 3-line whip was in 2017 and the least-worse option at the time. Corbyn has always been an EU sceptic but as a labour leader had to do what's best for the party too. You'd still have had a go at Corbyn whatever he did. If article 50 had been defeated an early election would have resulted in giving the Tories 4 more years. Complexities of alienating the public and giving the Tories 4 more years would not have helped Labour. Go back to dreamin'
1
@MrBurtonshaw Agreed, and deleted my previous comment as it was made in error.
