But left ideology should not be confused with supposed left-wing politicians who don't hold any left-wing political views. All the aforementioned are neoliberals and not Social Democrats. The left fought the right (rich, royals, elites) and died to claim the rights, freedoms and privileges we have, that the right-wing now seek to take away from us...

  3.  Mobbdeepak McMacaveli Shakoor  Historically the Labour party rebuilt Britain after the ww2, replaced slums with social housing, gave us medical care, legal aid, worker's rights, nationalised the BOE, Water, Communications, Energy, Coal. Transport etc (Much of which has now been privatised at the cost of £100 billion per annum in corporate welfare and subsidies and taxpayer bailouts). They gave us public transport, public libraries, public parks. But since Blair dropped clause 4 we haven't had a Labour party. Centrist neoliberals now run the left in the UK and the US ensuring a corporate-friendly party in power whoever wins. The left are now called extreme and we have the choice between red or blue flavoured neoliberalism...
