Comments by "Steve Parker" (@steveparker8065) on "NHS facing ‘unprecedented challenge’ - as strikes continue across UK" video.
Strikes are simply a side-effect of the real problems. What percentage of the NHS budget now goes to managers, admin and shareholders? That is the real problem.

@lewisg7614 Agreed, but much of the admin and management are only necessary because of the thousands of for-profit organisations.

@JoelJoel321 lol if I wanted an asinine comment from a Tory sycophant I'd ask...

@JoelJoel321 So a centrist then? If you don't support the NHS and are happy with privatisation, you're neoliberal and as bad as a Tory...

@gking1338 Management on excessive salaries is part of the outsourcing and for-profit organisations allowed under the 2012 Health and care act. You are agreeing with me yet have no idea and instead blame diversity. Just another clueless right-whinger helping the Tories to reduce your own family and friends' lives...

@Altair885 Just checked and it's just over £2.4 billion in 2021/22 spent on claims, including legal fees which is only a couple of per cent of the budget, still far too much but that's the cost of privatisation. For-profit organisations are notoriously less efficient and prone to malpractice.

@JoelJoel321 You made an asinine comment without specifying anything. I've already said "much of the admin and management are only necessary because of the thousands of for-profit organisations." And "Management on excessive salaries is part of the outsourcing and for-profit organisations allowed under the 2012 Health and care act." I'm not going to have a circular debate.

@muckraker7942 lol you haven't read my previous replies and don't understand the problem. For-profit organisations are the problem - they have been proven less efficient and more prone to malpractice, while draining resources via profit for shareholders.

@JoelJoel321 My assumption was based on your lack of specification. You disagreed with my whole comment! Hence you are no Labour supporter if you defend Tory privatisation of the NHS. If you learn to express yourself and also learn logic, come back!

@JoelJoel321 Thank you for that intellectual, thought-provoking, erudite, concise comment. I'll be looking forward to more from you in the near future...
