Tie their hands, fill the NHS with for-profit organisations, and then blame the staff... Truly a sickening betrayal of the British people by the Tories...

@johndean1634 GPs aren't responsible for the lack of staff and lack of funding. The Tories are, much of the NHS funds now go to shareholders of the for-profit organisations...

@pjl8119 Your comment was filtered but I agree wholeheartedly so I'll try to repost it: "Deliberate and wilful managed decline of public institutions as prelude to firesale to US corporations. Textbook neoliberalism."

@kevinsyd2012 While I'm no fan of Blair; he used John Major's PFIs to resolve the short-term funding issues left by the Tories. The Tories then ignored the 5% cap, increased the duration of PFIs to 2035 and then added another layer with PFI2. The Tories have been pushing for their model of the NHS with private hospitals since Thatcher. Using their usual methods of defund, rundown then offer a solution of privatisation. The 2005 pamphlet written by the Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt clearly proves this and the later 2012 health and care act allows for more for-profit organisations in the NHS. Blair's healthcare reforms were unthinkable for a Labour PM, but the Tories are predominantly responsible for selling NHS assets and the outsourcing and for-profit organisations.

@1daxwood Learn about the 2012 health care act, privatisation, outsourcing and other Tory agenda outlined in Jeremy Hunt's co-authored pamphlet about the NHS from 2005. You seem oblivious to facts so I'll take your weak ad homs as you don't seem to have the basic requirements to debate...
