@militantman Then why ever bother discussing politics? total cop-out answer... But as Nationalisation is part of Labour ideology and they have a history of nationalising the BoE, Energy, Transport, Coal, Steel etc it's a fair bet that it would have happened and it was also costed by the IFS...

@crown9413 Norway who use 100% renewable supply a portion of the 47% of natural gas we get from Europe... PS If LAbour has got in 2016 we'd have nationalised energy and investment in renewables. When the Tories sold our national energy infrastructure and cut funding to renewables and Britains own energy creation market, they left us wide open to this supply problem.

@crown9413 As already stated your lack of logic and reason makes it impossible to argue with you as you have at least 3 mistakes in your first sentence. It was costed by the IFS with everything else in the manifesto at £80 billion. The Tories just gave £37 billion away just to get a failure of a test and trace system. The Tories also give away £100 billion per annum in corporate welfare and subsidies. Investing in renewables is essential as the Nort Sea Oil and Gas has only 20 billion barrels left, under 5 years worth. This should have been done a decade ago, instead, we are reliant on Russia for gas...
