Comments by "Steve Parker" (@steveparker8065) on "Maternity services crisis: Poll shows midwives leaving NHS due to stress and burnout" video.
@hiramabiff2017 PS "In the year to June 2022, 40,365 NHS nurses in England left active service – equivalent to one in nine. Across the decade for which data are available, this is a peak in absolute terms (6,100 more leavers than the previous peak five years prior) and relative to the size of the workforce, with a leaver rate of 11.5%" Over 1 in 10 nurses are leaving the NHS, many opting to work abroad where pay is considerably higher...

@OllieX123 It seems my previous reply to him was filtered "Who funds the NHS and education? The government. Who is responsible for a £37 billion real-terms drop in NHS funding in the past decade? Who is responsible for the 2012 health care bill that prioritizes for-profit organisations in the NHS? giving even more taxpayer funding to shareholders rather than patients - The government. Who is responsible for low wages in the NHS and public sector lowering incentives in those career paths? The government. Who is responsible for the decline of beds, ambulances, hospitals and a 100,000 staff shortage in the NHS? The Government..." These are only some of the facts that have contributed.

@tjmarx No I was referring to you as a typical Daily Fail regurgitator and Tory suckup. Your analysis is tabloid propaganda and complete nonsense. The NHS has a staff shortage of 100,000 and 1 in 10 nurses leave because of the working conditions and pay. Overworked and having to deal with shortages and old equipment. Much of the NHS funding goes to shareholders because of private debt, outsourcing, privatisation and the 2012 health care bill which prioritizes for-profit organisations for new NHS contracts. You seem unable to grasp the situation, unable to interpret my comments and I'm not interested in your pub gossip/daily fail interpretations. I always back up my comments with undeniable facts that can be researched.

@tjmarx PS the government control the NHS via legislation, funding, equipment and wages. I pay taxes and have no choice if a corrupt government waste that money using cronyism. As previously stated you aren't worth the time to educate. It's like trying to teach a whale to fly...
