  1. Financial crises are opportunities for the wealthy. During Austerity for example the wealthiest 1,000 families in Britain doubled their assets. We are playing monopoly against people who start with multiple times the amount we have and hotels on Park Lane and Mayfair, while they have an infinite supply of 'Get out of Jail free!' cards...

We pay a host of taxes and extra ones on sugar, tobacco, and alcohol while a large amount of our tax money goes to pay for overpriced contracts for Government obligations that they outsource to their mates. On top of this they give away over £100 billion a year to corporations in subsidies, tax relief etc. While those corporations cost the treasury between £40-120 billion per annum in non-payment. It's a farce!
