A little reading for you and your viewers related to your post about names. I recently looked into my name out of curiosity, which like most Brits is derived from a mixed European heritage. Steven is derived from Greek Στέφανος (Stéphanos) meaning crown, wreath, to encircle, while Paul derives from the Roman family name Paulus which comes from the Latin adjective meaning "small", "humble", "least" or "little". Parker is Old French (Anglo-Norman) "parquier" with the meaning "keeper of the park" commonly employed by lords to hunt, tend and look after their grounds. As my name Is Steven Paul Parker I'd like to think it means to encircle the humble who work on the land. To defend the workers. I know it sounds arrogant to say it like that. But is it possible names do have a deeper meaning? what does your full name mean and do you feel any connection to the meaning as a whole?
