@Dr.Stacker Yes since 2012 the health and social care act allows for-profit organisations to bid for contracts. They are now given preference and we have lots of for-profit companies paying insane wages, a large percentage of money that goes into the NHS budget is being siphoned into shareholders' accounts.

@paultyler9600 lol there's a shortage of over 100,000 staff in the NHS if you had done even a slight amount of reading instead of insulting people, you'd know that. Nurses have left in their droves. They can go to Australia and get 1/3rd extra wages doing the same work. They stay because of they leave it could costs lives, so they strike to force the government to fix the problems...

@paultyler9600 Sorry mate I'm on the toilet and can only deal with one sh1t at a time. Triggered much by facts sweetie? We lose thousands a week because of cuts, but the strikes don't affect medical emergencies where lives are at stake...
