Cheers, Tim and agreed regarding politicians offering their agendas via highly suspicious platforms. However, while most people never question what they're told the onus should be on the media to provide accurate and well-analysed, impartial information. We need plurality in the media and healthy scepticism in the electorate. Occam's razor and Cartesian doubt should also be used on the big picture.

@markscript5746 The Guardian is better than most but not free of its owner's biases. I prefer to read facts, not opinions. Take the facts, ignore the opinion and interpretation from any news source then compare it with multiple sources to find a nugget of truth. Works with all media, the only difference being how much opinion and misdirection you have to ignore...

@geraldhewing2076 The Scott Trust and therefore its shareholders are the owners. As I said it's reasonably impartial in comparison to most media, but not a beacon of plurality...

@timlong7289 I mean platforms that are highly suspicious in terms of integrity and agenda. Such as many media outlets - GB news, TalkTV etc which are clearly propagandist platforms spreading misinformation and fallacious far-right views. I hope you aren't trying to sealion me as that gets boring really fast!

@geraldhewing2076 lol stop pedantically trying to diminish my point. The Scott Trust is limited and has 5 shareholders with an equal 20% stake. David Adetayo Olusoga, Ole Jacob Sunde, Katharine Sophie Viner, Russell James Scott and Haroon Siddique.

Dorries, Mogg and Johnson among many others are blurring the lines between politician and propagandist. Many even crossing the line into shock-jock territory.
