  1. You say you want real people in politics and yet the Tories have stacked the HOL with their cronies. Very few of those people have actually lived a life of manual labour and low wages which puts them out of touch with the public. I appreciate the HOL is supposed to be part of our checks and balances, but why not replace it with a group of human rights lawyers, political experts, economic experts etc to keep the government in check. Paid to sit for a far more reasonable salary than we currently pay via the price-per-sitting (£323 a day) system. Surely from what you have said, that would be an appropriate compromise?
