  1. The Tories have a lot to answer for. They have stripped the police to the bare minimum and got rid of trained officers with 30 years+ of on-the-job experience and replaced them with barely trained megalomaniacs. Many of the police themselves seem to be proof of the idiom - power corrupts and ultimate power corrupts ultimately. Criminals are overlooked and the personal vices and vendettas of officers are let loose...
