Comments by "Steve Parker" (@steveparker8065) on "Peter Oborne DEMOLISHES the Media Silence on The Labour Files" video.
The EHRC report clearly showed there was no systemic AS in the Labour party. The 2017 and 2018 parliamentary reports clearly show less AS in Labour compared to the Tory Party, UKIP and society in general. It also clearly shows AS was reduced under Corbyn. The Home Affairs Select Committee of Parliament held an inquiry into antisemitism in the UK in the same year and found "no reliable, empirical evidence to support the notion that there is a higher prevalence of antisemitic attitudes within the Labour Party than any other political party". Hundreds of Jewish socialists who fully supported Corbyn were silenced by the media.

@davidmcculloch8490 I remeber being called a cultist many times. To which my usual reply was: I'm off to pray to a 10ft effigy of Corbyn. "Our ideology that art for everyone. Socialism be thy name. Our time will come as capitalism is undone on earth as it is inevitable. Give unto those your daily charity and forgive us our profits. As we forgive neoliberals who use profit against us. And lead us not into greed, but deliver us from monopolies. For thine is dialectical materialism, class struggle against the Tories. For ever and ever, ahem..."

@davidmcculloch8490 Yea, it's a pity they weren't in every tabloid at the time. AS shouldn't be tolerated, but it also shouldn't be used as a weapon as it detracts from real AS. I'm not religious so speak as an outsider.

@georgebodley8068 That's the kind of subtle prejudiced reference that created this problem in the first place. Talking about money lenders and Jesus. Let's blame capitalists and not bring religion into it, greedy people have always existed in every society, religion, culture and ethnicity. Those that exploit others globally are to be blamed for their ideology, greed and lack of empathy.

@georgebodley8068 You're talking to someone who has fought the right for decades. I left Labour when Blair dropped clause 4. Starmer is a second-rate Blair tribute act. I get 80% of my comments filtered and have been kicked off Twitter for being mean to the right. Your use of language will get us silenced even further, I'm pointing out that you need to play the game and be clever about the language you use. Not leave yourself open to attack and further censorship. Do you get that?

@davidmcculloch8490 Thank you. Diet Tories: A moment in office, a lifetime on your wallets.

@georgebodley8068 lol you think I'm unaware of the creation of the Fed in 1913 and the knock-on effect of that? The loss of the gold standard in 1933? The creation of Fractional Reserve Banking and FIAT currency and how money is no longer tied to a physical resource? You sound like someone who sympathises with right-wing revisions of history, dangerous ones. I follow logic and reason. I'm just a council estate lad who grew up but can argue economics, and geopolitics with the best of them and have. Many right-wing tropes are behind some of your beliefs. I'm not wasting any more time explaining the glaringly obvious on a story about how AS was used to rob us of a decent PM and how that forced the left to be classed as extreme while the right rises to prominence globally. You're giving them the ammunition...

@hibernopithecus7500 Ideology and religion are separate. I have a strong Democratic Socialist ideology and am an atheist. Some ideologies and religions blur the lines, but don't conflate them all...

@georgebodley8068 Being Welsh I think I'd know what it means mate, PS it was made famous by Tennyson. You have no idea the damage your intransigence causes. I'm asking you to think and you come back with senseless bravado. Speaking the truth when no one hears your comment is useless. Speaking the truth couched in metaphor enables you to spread your message. Read my original comment in relation to this story and my previous comments to you. Then try and read between the lines instead of all the macho BS. I'm 50 and have fought this fight for a long time as our rights have been taken away a little at a time. This is my truth: Annibyniaeth i Gymru!

@theressomelovelyfilthdownh4329 Agreed. Many people who voted Tory only did so using excuses such as getting Brexit done or using tabloid misconceptions about Corbyn and his manifesto. Such a shame.

@LeeGee No mate, that's not what I said. I said to think carefully about what you say and also that AS was not to be tolerated. Read all the comments!

@georgebodley8068 I don't buy into that as my post clearly shows and I criticise Israel openly for their apartheid policies, land grabs, stealing of the Golan Heights from Syria and deplorable treatment of their Palestinian landlords. But your attitude and statements are closely related to right-whinge think tank nonsense that has allowed the rise of the far right globally and shifted the Overton window to the right. If you just learn to voice your opinions without using right-wing tropes then the left would be able to be heard more clearly and attacked less by state lobbyists...

@mdb3040 Thank you!

@georgebodley8068 lol you have no idea mate. Keep up with your blatant filtering of yourself and watch as we are censored into oblivion and head towards a dystopian corporatocracy. I know political history from Attlee onwards. I know my own history from Welsh villages flooded to provide England with water, to the coal mining my ancestors did to fuel the Industrial revolution. From the 'Welsh not' and my language and culture being beaten out of children in Welsh schools. To hungry Welsh miners being told they'll have their bellies filled with lead by Churchhill in Tonypandy. To industrial crimes that led to the disaster in Aberfan. None of your comments are visible to anyone because you don't use common sense. I have two devices so I can check when I'm being filtered. Use your head or continue to allow yourself to be filtered and the rest of us to be silenced for your bravado... Take Care!

@georgebodley8068 You've gone off on a tangent now. You are teaching your grandma to suck eggs. Starmer has kicked out most Socialists from the party and used the PLP like the Tories use FPTP. I'm not disagreeing with that. Just stating that some of your comments have a close similarity to conspiracy from the right and carefully avoiding that will allow your other views to be heard. While Blair will flinch and Starmer sneers, we'll keep the red flag flying here!

@georgebodley8068 Agreed, the infiltration of Blairite centrists has left us with the choice between Red or Blue flavoured neoliberalism.

@adriftinaboat3452 Thank you!

@ennesshay5040 Yes, I like Norman Finkelstein he tells it as it is.

@1headtheball Thank you! although I'm actually so unhip it's a wonder my bum doesn't fall off!

@LeeGee Second comment I made "AS shouldn't be tolerated" stop interpreting out of context!
