Brexit was a nightmare, with generational debt, losses to human rights, animal welfare, food standards, , prestige on the international stage, logistical problems regarding goods, trading relations that took decades to form. Despite constant media lies to the contrary - Brexit was all about Britain being the global leader in corporate tax avoidance and the criminal elite's money laundering thanks to the crown estates and overseas territories which lack transparency. Obviously, the EU crackdown after the Panama Papers scandal - which references many top Tories, Royalty and Russian oligarchs - and the EU Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive that resulted in 2015 was a huge incentive for Cameron's visit to the EU the same year, to beg the EU to add loopholes or exclude Britain. Cameron returned empty-handed and then announced the Brexit referendum. All this has been brought back to the forefront by the Pandora Papers exposing similar connections to Royalty, Russian Oligarchs and top politicians.

Wouldn't be surprised Phil they do everything else.
"Every worker in Britain liked Christmas a lot.
But the Tories, who lived in luxury, well, they did not!
The Tories dislike Christmas, the giving time season.
And we all know why; their selfishness the reason.
Could it be that their heads aren't screwed on quite right?
Or could it be, perhaps, that their fists are too tight?
But with Tories the most likely reason of all,
Is their freezing-cold hearts are a few sizes too small.
Whatever the reason, for their uncharitable views,
They stand there at Christmas, making profits for the few,
Staring down at the Populus with a sour, grouchy frown,
At the poor blighted workers in Britain's cold towns.
For every worker in Britain, they would love to bequeath,
In place of mistletoe a withered old funeral wreath.
"No hanging of stockings!" the Tories doth jeer,
Tomorrow may be Christmas, but the Tories don't care.
They scowl at the thought of a little drummer boy drumming,
So they crashed the economy and stopped Christmas from coming."
A little parody to cheer us all up!

I hope your troll is dealt with. I'm still filtered everywhere even when trying to post a simple rhyme:
"Bullies, kleptocrats and fraudsters are apparently the best that we've got,
To lead the sorry carcass of the United Kingdom to disease, decay, mould and rot.
As a tapeworm takes food from its victim, as a leech sucks the lifeblood of its host.
The Tory's vile schemes are destroying our dreams as they plunder and arrogantly boast.
Their inverted panacea should be obvious, their cronyism known to one and all,
But the tabloids gaslight the masses with such might, we're silenced and continue to fall.
How many times can I chime the same rhyme? what different jibes can I scribe to describe?
The atrocious situation that chokes our great nations, this poison we're forced to
imbibe.
Lethargy would drain the life from me, If I would just surrender, give in and allow,
But I still hope that unity can overcome cruelty and to fight all the more, we should vow.
I'll say it once more for the apathetic, the ignorant and those who still doubt,
Solidarity is key, if coherent and still free we could boot those sucking parasites out!"

They outsource their decisions and our services, they're nothing but middlemen.
"Injustice unpunished, tacky tabloids know the truth,
But will never they publish these facts, they lack sleuths.
No investigative journalism, just gaslighting the poor.
Electric lighting too expensive; prices have soared.
Let's just blame the migrants or disabled and pity
the homeless who freeze every night in our cities.
They're all alcoholics or on drugs no doubt,
At least that's what the tacky tabloids doth shout!
While the government devote all our taxes to shares
to for-profit services making gains from dodgy wares.
Then out of our economy, these profits will soar,
On the wings of a vulture to accounts far offshore.
The non-dom tabloid owners who avoid taxes all
are increasing the burden on the workers who fall
into poverty no doubt, as their pleas go unheard.
While the tacky tabloid owners blame a lack of hard work.
But the hardest of workers all seem to be poor,
On twelve-hour shifts and then struggling some more.
They can barely afford heating or food as their lives
are turned into profits, by the morally deprived.
If there's one thing I've learned by reading their crap,
Its truth has been abducted and nurses can't live off claps.
What the hell am I bothering to type this shyte for.
The media care not for the plight of the poor."

@olmostgudinaf8100 PS If you want to dismiss ideas about a Socialist nirvana, you should learn British history. This country was built on Social Democracy. The Attlee Government implemented a real left-wing manifesto, rebuilt after the war, Nationalised the Bank of England, Coal, Steel, Energy, Transport and other industries. Gave us the welfare state, the NHS, free education, public libraries, national parks, public transport, legal aid and workers rights. People like you are the reason we've lost much of those advances, you keep giving ground and the right keeps marching on relentlessly. The Overton window moves further right and people like you move with it until you're almost a Tory and happy to accept Tory-lite version of Labour. Corbyn's policies won hands down in polls of the British public, but the relentless political assassination by the media and the fact that centrists were torpedoing Labour's chances to the point of actively working against Labour is the reason the Tories are still in power.

@piccalillipit9211 The problem is that we've never had a system of equality. If people are born with more privilege and opportunities than others they will always be able to manipulate the system even further to their own advantage. We changed from feudalism to capitalism and the same feudal lords grew in power under capitalism. Human beings need to grow and pair and drop this idea of social hierarchy. Inequity will always feed disorder and division. The system needs to be designed from the bottom up with those best suited to the job given the opportunity.
I think building a new system from the ground up is the best way forward. Similar to your idea regarding the lords. Those most qualified for the job. Money is a con, it's simply a human construct that in practice just acts as a pyramid scheme and allows a tiny minority to own and control the vast majority of the world's 'actual' resources (land, water, human labour). We need a resource-based economy with a focus on ecology, biodiversity and sustainability. Where goods are valued based on usefulness, labour intensity, availability, sustainability etc. We need a system based on equality that encourages personal growth, not the accumulation of wealth. We had a eutopia at the start, we just get further from it. The idea that fiscal reward is more important than the admiration of your peers and society is a corruption of logic.
Eutopia is something we can only work towards. Everyone alive today is infected with capitalist dogma and logical fallacies. Hard work = success. The hardest-working people I ever met are poor. Getting rich by investing your trust fund does nothing for society. We have a whole class of people who don't contribute yet get all the rewards.
However, we aren't on a path to do anything about it. Just sit back and binge-watch your favourite show as disaster capitalism devours the human race, its history and its achievements in its short-sighted mindless assault on sanity and logic.

@PeterPete Who took the working class out of the slums and gave them social housing, human rights, working rights, legal aid, free schooling, free healthcare, a welfare state that we pay into to protect the sick and disabled, national industry, public transport, public parks, public libraries? Labour. Who sold off all our national infrastructure and now gives subsidies, tax breaks and bailouts out of your taxes to the privatised industry and shareholders? The Tories. Now, having said that Starmer's Labour isn't that much better than the Tories, but it is better. As for democracy, you can't have a democracy where corporate lobbyists override the decisions of the public, so yes we don't have true democracy. You have the choice between corruption and manipulations from the Tories while they put their hand in your back pocket or a party who have a track record of doing a lot more for the majority of Brits. Life isn't fair, choose the best option or work to change the system...

@Tomlinsky Agreed, The tabloids gave them excuses, they didn't want to vote for a supposed terrorist, they didn't want to vote for the supposed hard left, they wanted to 'see Brexit done', they didn't trust Labour on the economy despite the global financial crisis being no fault of Labour. They did what the tabloids told them to, and they will again, and again, and again. Action is the only solution, but no one in this country has the freedom to act, we are all tied to kids, debts, higher purchase agreements, bills, mortgages, low paid jobs, the next TV show to binge-watch - ad Infinitum

Removed comments: "Laws predominantly apply to the poor, the rich have the option of NDAs, out of court settlements, Excellent legal advice, Excellent legal defence and preferential treatment regarding not being arrested in the first place. As this story clearly demonstrates. Jimmy Saville, Epstein, Prince Andrew, Weinstein, Alec Baldwin ad nauseam... Take your pedantic ignorance to someone who gives a flying f. About as much use as a rubber beak to a woodpecker..."
"So the public went through the same process? or were they taken to court and fined? Hmmm, I think you'll find it was the latter... "Ordinary people have been fined large sums of money for breaching Covid rules, with figures showing that 800 fines were handed out in the same week as the Downing Street “bring your own booze” garden party.""
"I haven't used any name-calling childish or derogatory. It 'you're' not 'your'. I simply pointed out your pedantry and ignorance which have continued in your latest comment. Hope your day is as nice as you are :)"

@lbthingsstuffmore9513 Thank you. However, just to be clear though. I'm not convinced Putin was a major player. At least not politically, He may have been happy about Putin the boot into the EU and Russian Oligarch money was obviously involved. But Trump, Cambridge Analytica scandal and Brexit was the work of a cabal including Robert Mercer, Steve Bannon, Andrew Breitbart, Arron Banks, Peter Thiel, Peter Hargreaves etc with some minor players such as Jacob Rees-Mogg, Nigel Farage, Dominic Cummings. It seems to be more financial motivations and power rather than purely political ones. Although obviously political motivations are related.

But apart from Grenfell, Economic Euthanasia, Disabled Vilification, Election Fraud, Contempt of Parliament, Windrush Scandal, WASPI, Working Poverty, Homeless Crisis, Hostile Env, Food Banks, NHS Crisis, Austerity and the inept Pandemic plan, what have the Tories ever done for us?
