@philip_bray Far left? Yes, I believe in fair wages, a fair legal system, human rights, equality, free speech, not forcing taxpayers to fork out on corporate greed, being paid enough to buy a house and support a family in a decent society and have a decent pension in my old age. So yes that makes me an extremist...

Too many damn lerts in Britain already !! What have the Coronavirus and the Tories got in common? (apart from not having a cure for either) They both like to disproportionately target the poor, minorities, disabled and vulnerable.
6
@radjalomas8854 Risks? Complimenting a reactor deserves censorship? Using factual eloquent words to point out missing aspects to a news story is worth censoring? Humor, decency, factual accuracy, different perspective to a commentor - these things deserve censorship? Besides I've seen enough factless, vile, aggressive comments to know I'm singled out for my political views (left-wing, anti-capitalist, human rights advocate).
6
Tut, tut. That's the Tory's job!
6
Thanks for that, I was going to wear a 10ft kite on my back and go mountain climbing. Just kidding appreciate the sentiment :)
6
lol, the human race is facing extinction and all we get is adverts for trips to space from billionaires. I'm sure there is some connection...
6
Make the legal age 18 to buy and use vapes... Oh wait it already is! - How many alcohol-related hospitalisations for under 18s per annum?
6
@stevec6427 Agreed, not only that but allowing the poorest to keep more of their income also helps to grow the economy. As those on the lowest incomes don't have spare money to save and so every penny goes straight back into the economy, creating a virtuous circle.
6
lol as if people can afford Christmas presents this year. Many working people can't afford food and energy...
6
@kristinesharp6286 Is your middle name Notso...
6
Tories, duh!
6
@alltypesofvideos9902 Her husband also advises corporations how to avoid UK tax laws too, very patriotic.
6
@FJTx100 Agreed, All those Habsburg descendants still control countries through archaic forms of feudal governance.
6
Stealing a loved pet is about as low as it gets. Having said that why are people so desperate to get money that they'd stoop so low?
6
Prop gun and blanks is a euphemism for egotistical actor goes postal.
6
Boris Johnson is the Fred West of world leaders and his patio is Britain...
6
National action is needed all over Britain in every arena. The poor are victims of a war they don't realise is happening.
6
That's what I'd have said if I couldn't think of anything intelligent or witty to type...
6
@xxx-xxx-o2s Thanks for the basic maths lesson that attempts to feebly distort reality. We give over £100 billion of taxpayer money per annum to tax-dodging corporations via welfare and subsidies. Those corporations also cost us between £40-120 billion per annum via unpaid taxes/tax gap... We also allow the Tories to give government contractors £37 billion for a test and trace system than most countries can do for a million... I have a plethora of examples of why the rich get richer, and it has nothing to do with your very basic understanding...
6
So it's goodbye to FUKUS. The French have gone ballistic since being torpedoed by Australia and China have gone nuclear...
6
Good for them, they're obviously underpaid, just like nurses and doctors who aren't as important as actors. I hope they can up their wages to $20 or $30 million per film so they can afford to get themselves out of poverty...
6
@petehibbert310 That's what I'd have said If I couldn't think of anything intelligent or witty to type... About as much use as a rubber beak to a woodpecker...
6
@dylaanowen People kill themselves with artificial sweeteners, sugar, cheap fat, lack of exercise, toxic products they buy from corporations they trust. We risk our lives crossing the road or working in heavy industry. Tax on booze, sugar, and cigarettes are iso only used to disadvantage the poor. What is more important 60 years of enjoyable lifestyle or 65 years of abstinence and worry?
6
The usual aggressive, genocidal rhetoric from the poison dwarf in the Garden of Eden...
6
The economy shrank by 0.3% in March alone. Our economy shrank by 5.5% due to Brexit so this 0.2% growth barely scratches the surface of our previous losses. But don't worry about the banks and their management teams, they're all getting huge payouts, after all, If they fail they'll just ask for another bailout...
6
Thank god that old lady was arrested before she upset the tangerine troglodyte...
6
Prop gun and blanks is a euphemism for actor goes postal...
6
We already pay for social care, then the Tories cut money from social care and run it down, then announce an overhaul that costs the poorest in society who are already under pressure financially. Same old underfund, then offer privatisation/tax hikes as a solution. Over 1/3rd of Brits are already in working poverty.
6
@floopy1962 lol China are the least of your worries... The same people have been setting the course for humanity for a while, and it isn't ex-communists...
6
That's a misleading question. Wind farms will solve our reliance on Russian gas within 2 years, but we need all renewables to be increased (Hydro, Solar, Biomass, Wind, Geothermal) as well as insulation and energy-saving technologies combined. There is no reason we can't be 100% self-sufficient in energy needs and every reason in the modern world to make it a top priority.
6
@jjefferyworboys8138 Stop the blatant lying. "MPs can claim for rent or hotel accommodation as well as expenses for a second home if they are not already receiving rent-free London accommodation through any ministerial post, and provided that their constituency is outside London."
6
@mrswintersparrow Agreed, the NHS has received funding levels consistently under the rate of inflation for over a decade, during which they have a staff shortage of over 100,000 due to multiple factors, including low pay, lack of bursaries and debt from outsourcing.
6
@lIlIlIIIlllIIiLll Placate the masses while they continue to siphon our taxes to shareholders offshore accounts no doubt.
6
Saudi Arabia seems to also be quite good at genocide, they've been practising for quite some time in Yemen...
6
Agreed, I'm sorry that people in your country don't feel safe walking outside without a gun. It's a terrible indictment on a society.
6
@dawnb8123 While corporate welfare costs us over £100 billion per year, Moshe worries about the £1.56 billion unemployment benefits...
6
Such brave men pushing around middle-aged peaceful protesters, women and students. The billionaire oil barons must be laughing all the way to the bank. Give them the George Cross for gallantry and for their attempt to reverse the right to protest...
6
Congrats to the Paralympians, Imagine what they could do if the Tories supported the disabled community instead of punishing them with regular check-ups to ensure they're still disabled... No the nerves in my back haven't regrown, No my legs haven't grown back...
6
I spent the day contemplating the exact moment that the world fell into a parallel universe where truth is optional and illusion Trumps reality...
6
Well bugga me, about bloody time boyo, init. Nice to allowed out, i'll celebrate by walking over to the window and stare at the sun for a few.
6
The highest number of days have passed so far this year... More on this story tomorrow...
6
Well if it's a choice between funding social care and wheelchairs for the disabled or continuing to pump money into corporate greed through subsidies and tax relief for corporations. I say fund corporate greed, after all poor people will just waste their money on clothes, food and rent. While the billionaires who take taxpayer money in subsidies will put it to good use by buying another luxury yacht...
6
Anytime there's talk of a perfectly obvious bias in society, like patriarchy, or inequality; there's always those who try to point out the reverse...
6
An emissions deal that increases the profits of corporations but neglects to deal with the issue in time...

US economy shrinks faster than an orange man's manparts. The US economy is just trying to make the tango terrorist feel better.
5
@Eringobragh2024 Tories ignore the Irish, Welsh, Scottish and poor English and do what profits them every time, then make up some PR about how they're actually philanthropic humanitarians...
5
and go out and do something less boring instead...
5
@julielevinge266 100% agreed, I'm so glad we sold off our North Sea resources and privatised the energy markets so a cartel could bleed us dry and increase the number of pensioners that die each year from hypothermia. I also appreciate all the subsidies, bailouts and tax breaks that the poorest pay shareholders, through their taxes. I'm just glad the British public are so apathetic they allow the Tories to con them so openly...

...and more charm in a used tissue.

This all stems from US sanctions and China and the US reliance on Taiwan for commercial and military technology. Global conflict on the horizon... From a Reuters article dated 27th Dec 2021: "TAICHUNG, Taiwan – On the front line of the superpower struggle between the United States and China, Taiwan has fashioned a defensive masterstroke. It has become indispensable to both sides. In dominating the fabrication of the most advanced semiconductors, the giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd (TSMC) has captured a technology that’s crucial to the cutting-edge digital devices and weapons of today and tomorrow. TSMC accounts for more than 90% of global output of these chips, according to industry estimates."
