Wild Polio Virus was eradicated in all countries except Asia, why are we suffering problems that less developed and economically poor countries have managed to eradicate?

@JOEFABULOUS. The UK switched from using OPV to inactivated polio vaccine ( IPV ) in 2004, the year after poliovirus was declared eradicated in the WHO European region.

@TomNook. The WHO says "This reduction is the result of the global effort to eradicate the disease. Today, only 2 countries in the world have never stopped transmission of polio (Pakistan and Afghanistan)."
