  1. He was a fair speaker mostly and I think the legend Dennis Skinner may have charmed him over the years to be more disposed to Labour. But considering Starmer is taking the Labour party further right of centre it's no surprise former Tories will find Labour more appealing. Unfortunately, that leaves the general public with little choice between red or blue flavoured neoliberalism.

A once proud party that gave us the NHS, Worker's rights, legal aid, public parks, public transport, nationalised industry and secure employment is now a lobbyist controlled platform offering nothing more than a different flavour of neoliberalism to the Tories...
