  1. What is so difficult to understand? The rich think too many poor people are ruining their unfettered profiteering, so despite the system being fixed to profit the rich, their endless greed knows no limits. They'll keep pushing the poor into early graves because that's preferable to creating a fair society that allows everyone to prosper.
