Glad the government is doing something useful, stopping people from paying large amounts of tax for toxic products is just what we need during the cost of living crisis... Seriously why? who cares? leave people to make their own choices and stop looking for ways to increase tax on the poor, it's not like the rich will have a problem buying cigarettes and booze...

@dylaanowen People kill themselves with artificial sweeteners, sugar, cheap fat, lack of exercise, toxic products they buy from corporations they trust. We risk our lives crossing the road or working in heavy industry. Tax on booze, sugar, and cigarettes are iso only used to disadvantage the poor. What is more important 60 years of enjoyable lifestyle or 65 years of abstinence and worry?

@patriciaoreilly8907 Agreed, The Tory Government should come with a health warning. Most of the stress is caused by the Tories waging war on the poor. They are using economic euthanasia to decrease the number of disabled, vulnerable and poverty stricken.
