Grenfell was caused by a Tory council, Tory government legislation and a landlord who used flammable material. The fire brigade may indeed have issues but this is simply an attempt at shifting the blame.

@CassieAngelica This was started because of Grenfell, the fireman was the least of the contributing factors. The Landlord, Tory government legislation and Tory council are predominantly to blame but are using the fire brigade as a scapegoat. Fair enough they need to sort out these problems, but our government could be accused of exactly the same issues. In fact, they were several times and many reports have proved these problems exist in the Tory party in higher case incidents than all other parties.

@CassieAngelica You have too much optimism. Even if Starmer gets in, in 2024 he's funded by corporate lobbyists. He's expressed views on immigration, corporate taxes, unions and striking workers that in some cases further right than the Tories. Don't get me wrong, anything is better than the Tories but I'm not expecting dramatic change.

@kevinb9830 Adults would know that mentioning a faulty fridge is pointless as that happens to thousands of fridges every year and so isn't the reason for the catastrophe. The cladding meeting the design-build is why Tory legislation is to blame and the landlord as well as the local Tory council who approved the building. He had already been defeated before he left his comment. He didn't seem to recognise that basic fact, and neither do you apparently...
