  1. Such a shame that tragedies like this can be avoided. Pity all houses aren't fully insulated and kept up to code. Every time corporations, landlords and Tories cut corners to save money, it's always the public who pay the consequences and often the highest price... Not to mention it's a false economy as doing things right the first time saves money in the long run. Energy bills, emergency ward visits due to damp causing mould, pensioners dying of hypothermia. We need safe social housing run by authorities and not mercenary landlords.
