Comments by "Steve Parker" (@steveparker8065) on "Moment Princess Kate gives adorable toddler her pinned poppy during school visit" video.
Cost of a Poppy £2 - cost of a privileged royal gaining publicity in multiple tabloids by giving that poppy to a minority toddler - priceless...

@moniquejohnson3855 "I pointed out how she's using the child to boost her profile, how do you take that as an offence to the child? Do you know how language works? Do you have a deficiency in understanding the written word?"

@Stand663 I hope Prince Andrew isn't involved...

@Stand663 I've researched many Royals and their charities. Good cover for tax evasion, fraud, taking donations for knighthoods and even human trafficking. That's just a few stories I can remember off the top of my head. Just type royal charity and scandal to see pages of it!

@Stand663 lol I can't argue with stupid. Each Royal is given millions per annum as a stipend from the British taxpayer. Then you have to calculate the cost of property renovation, protection, police escorts etc... The taxpayer/state actually owns the Royal estates, but the monarch's ascension to the throne entitles them to use the estates for the duration of their reign only...

@Stand663 Please stop lying, you don't have a clue what you're talkign about. Republica released a report a few years ago proving the more prominent Royals cost several million per annum. As you just admitted the Tourist attractions belong to the nation, which means the usual argument offered by people like you is 'that tourism offsets the cost of Royal welfare benefits' is erroneous. PS King George was bankrupt after he lost America, he made a deal to avoid bankruptcy provided we pay for his family for eternity... That was 250 years ago...

@Stand663 You haven't got a clue. The relevance of Tourism is that Royalists use it to excuse the huge cost of the Royal Family. France makes more money from tourism and they haven't had Royalty since the guillotine was invented... The royal family are part of a European dynasty of inbreed Habsburgs and our recently departed Queen was part German and her hubby Phillip had predominantly German ancestry and spoke German fluently. British culture is Celtic, not Saxon...

@Stand663 lol read a few extracts from your diatribe but the lack of any logic or facts make the debate worthless. Just as your comments are...

@Hellsbells The fact that I'm pointing out how she's using race to boost her profile isn't racist. She interacted with numerous people but this is the image she and her PR team have allowed the world to see... You see someone mention race and accuse them of racism. You have no idea what ethnicity I am or my political views. But just to clarify I'm left-wing and believe everyone is equal regardless of race, ethnicity, language, wealth, geographical location etc...

@masumi1990x No, i see the blatant use of a minority to boost her image. Royalty chooses how they are represented in the press. I've answered that point numerous times, maybe you have a problem with reading and comprehension?

@masumi1990x PS "Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have been accused of benefitting from the “blood, tears and sweat” of slaves as they arrived in Jamaica to be met by a protest calling for reparations from the British monarchy." I wonder how to combat such negative press, maybe a photo op?
