  5. The media are largely to blame for our situation. They should report with plurality and challenge government misinformation. Workers produce the goods, build the houses, build the roads, transport the goods, heal the sick, repair what's broken, provide the services, work out the balance sheets, fight the wars, manage, clean and protect society. We provide the dual roles in the economy of worker/taxpayer, producer and consumer, service provider and service user. We are collateral, cannon fodder and consumers. Why do we live in poverty while the rich siphon our taxes and provide little use to society?

A Tory MP should be ashamed of the cuts that cost the police their most experienced officers and replaced them with youngsters who done a couple of weeks of training, they closed hundreds of police stations and got rid of tens of thousands of support workers. There's no excuse for the state of the police, but the Tories bear responsibility for the manufacture of those problems...

I just love the way those wonderful Tories are helping the energy company cartel's shareholders to keep up bumper profits by loaning the taxpayer £200 (out of their own taxpayer money) to pay the extortionate prices while giving the shareholders a big boost to profits in October. Which will leave the taxpayers with a £200 debt so that they will struggle even more in the following years. Yet they present this as a generous gift to taxpayers. Genius! you have to admit the Tories are extremely good at ripping off the taxpayer and presenting it as a good thing.

  14. lol, there are loads personally I love the way Brexit has improved the lives of Brits up all over the Union. How smooth the transition was and how quickly all the border, import and export issues were solved. I was especially pleased with how little money was spent on administration and how the UK's standing improved on the global stage, especially in Europe. There were virtually no financial losses and the pound keeps soaring ever higher. The UK has become unified and we all feel a closer kinship with the world. It's like a dream come true and there were hardly any teething problems as you'd expect with such a huge endeavour. The Tories protected the GFA at all costs. They made a plan right at the beginning and stuck to it all the way through, for a seamless transition, without aggravating a precarious peace. While implementing border controls that were easy to understand and smooth sailing for all involved. So glad we didn't lose any of the trading deals and relationships that took decades to build. An all-around success story for the UK. Now all that's left to do is to sit back and enjoy all those wonderful benefits with a nice cup of Sovereign Tea and a trip to the sunlit uplands to feed my Unicorns...

In the same year, 2020/21 £120.1 billion was given to corporations in subsidies alone, that's without bailouts, tax relief, tax loopholes etc. We aren't poor there is plenty of money in the pot, it's being given to the wealthy at the expense of our life expectancy!
